There are actually two ways to reach a state of ketosis – 1) starvation and 2) low-carb intake. Naturally, we don’t want to starve the body so we are looking at the latter as a reliable weight-loss tool. Don’t get me wrong – fasting has its purpose but it's not maintainable long term. Instead, I’m going to show you a way to achieve the same goals as fasting without having to torture yourself. I’m sure you’ve tried one of those diet programs that feel like torture. You might have even experienced some short-term success. But all of that work was in vain because you ended up slipping and gained all of that weight back. You’re not alone.
