Product Description

Heartache and betrayal are two things Keeley Stone is very familiar with. Born into a life she never wanted, betrayed by her own parents, she never saw a way out. Until one day, two men who know nothing of her or her life step up and protect her when she’s in need of a savior.

Loyalty and respect are not just something earned for brothers Nathaniel and Tyler Maxwell, but a code they live by. A chance encounter with a gorgeous young woman has left them enthralled with her.

Can they convince her they’re worth fighting for? Or will she let demons of her past control her future?

Note: This is a stand alone HEA M/F/M contemporary romance novel. There is no touching for titillation between brothers.
This is a full length novel at 50000 words.

3.0 out of 5 stars COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER 20 August 2015

Ok, Keeley's Fight - I read the sample of this book and thought I'd buy it because I love a good MFM story. Having read some of the best, Colter's Woman by Maya Banks for one, I was prepared to read a really good story - I didn't get one. The theme of the abused, sweet girl who is rescued by two hot guys looking for "the one" to complete them is a very good starting point and one that is used quite often in MFM. In this story we have poor abused Keely who is savaged from a young age by her awful parents. After the death of her brutal and drug addicted mother, Keely is left to be further abused by her drunken vicious father. She is now in her early twenties and is still allowing her father to hit and terrorize her on a daily basis. I guess I can understand the brain washing effect of constant abuse has made her brain dead, but she was working for abusive employers at a diner and getting brutalized at home as well - time to run Keely, time to run. Enter Nathaniel and his brother Tyler. These guys were former Marines now running a security agency and their mom, who has two husbands, suggests they go to this diner where they have noticed the beautiful, sad Keely and feels she is just what they need. Voila, they go there, meet Keely, instantly want her, rescue her and take her home. The story goes downhill from here. Keely needs counseling in the worst way and as soon as she comes home with Nathaniel and Tyler, they sex her up but good. A crazy ex one night stand comes to the house and kicks the s*** out of Keely. The brothers patch her up at home - no hospital visit. The instant progression of their romance left me feeling empty. There were great bones to this story but no meat was on them. Ms. Donn has to write better, paint a better picture of events and infuse them with more color, more feeling, more everything. The latter part of this book read like a group of ideas that just were not fleshed out enough to make the romance between these three believable. When her father shows up at their house without any preamble - how did he find her, where was the scene where he's looking for her and decides to get his twisted revenge? The supporting characters were one dimensional fillers that did not make me want to know anything more about them. The concept of this story works, I have read many like it before that still are memorable. This one I have already forgotten.
4.0 out of 5 stars Beat Down By Whole Life 15 January 2017

Yes, grammatically incorrect, and at the same time, accurate. Keeley cannot catch a break. Abuse, neglect, isolation, precarious living situation...her sad short life is coming to a crisis point when Nathaniel and Tyler find her in rundown diner. They are protectors and they have something specific in mind for little Keeley; certainly, a better life than what she's had thus far. But can the wee one, handle these two?

It's always heartwarming when the downtrodden get a lifeline, and these three are mostly great to, given Keeley's inexperience with life and dependence with distrust. These are strangers, and she hasn't had great examples of how folks can be. But the steam was the biggest issue I had with this story, because there is no way someone with that background could be as prepared as she was to do all the stuff she did in a short period of time. But that's romance get a heavy dose of unrealistic fantasy along with the love story.
3.0 out of 5 stars Keeley's Fight 25 October 2016

This is the second story I have read by this author. It was good but I felt it needed something more. Keeley's Fight is about a twenty year old Keeley finding the two men that complete her M/F/M relationship. Nate and Tyler are these men who were both Marines and brothers not twins. Nate and Tyler's parents have a M/F/M relationship. These gorgeous men own Maxwell Security and our taking by Keeley the first time they see her. She is their waitress at a diner they come to for pancakes. The rest is history she moves in with them, works with them and falls in love with them.
Keeley' s story about her childhood is heartbreaking and I am glad she got her HEA. Overall Donn did a good job with the storyline. Happy Reading!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this book!!! 6 August 2015

** ARC gifted to leave an honest review **

Keeley's Fight is author K.L. Donn's debut novel & it does not disappoint.
We meet Keeley, who I just want to hug, she's had such a terrible life, she's made to believe that she was never wanted & no one will ever love her or want anything to do with her.
She meets our heroes, Nate & Tyler when they come into her work & she waits on them. They are extremely attracted to her & intrigued by her. When Keeley has no where to go, her two men come to her rescue with a proposition for her & she finds herself moving in with them. Can Keeley commit to this new relationship or will old demons come back to haunt her?
Even though their relationship developed quick, they gradually moved into their physical relationship, but once it was on, it was HOT!!!
You can feel the love Nate & Tyler have for Keeley & it's beautiful.
Do not hesitate to buy this book, the story is truly amazing & you'll be rooting for these 3.

I really enjoyed this book & look forward to what you have planned in the future for us!!
3.0 out of 5 stars OK but haphazard 19 February 2016

This book was OK but really needed better pacing. Scenes moved quickly from one to the next with very little breather in between. For example, Nate and Ty met Keeley and the very next day they are saying things like they just want to make her happy have her trust them... They'd only known her for a couple of hours! It didn't make sense.

Also, I had a hard time fully understanding Keeley. I absolutely understood and felt her pain from her abusive past but her personality, I couldn't quite pin down. One minute she was shy, then totally naive (who moves in with 2 strangers without asking more questions?), in another scene she was a sexual aggressor, in yet another she was practically in a stupor after being attacked but then perfectly fine soon after. What the author really needed IMO was to slow down, let characters and scenes breathe before jumping right into the next one. There was SOOO much deep pain and emotion that needed to be explored but weren't because they weren't really given time. Time to let things sink in for a minute. Something would happen and get resolved in the same chapter and then it was on the the next thing.

I like this author but I would like to see more depth all around. I am looking fwd to Kennedy's story (I read Emily's before this one). If any character deserves a "deep dive" it's Kennedy and I hope the author can give her a good story.
