Product Description

People call me all sorts of names—bad girl, black sheep, and my all-time favorite...Satan’s bride. I could blame the fact I’m a witch for my behavior, but the truth is I’m infuriating, arrogant, and stab-worthy.

Alex Remington is a hunter and everything I’m not—righteous, honest, caring. We used to have a thing, but that was before he learned I’m a witch and tried to kill me.

Eighteen months later, he’s back in my life and we have a deal; I’ll help him save his brother and he’ll disappear from my life for good. But karma can be a real bitch…

5.0 out of 5 stars You have to read this!!! 18 April 2017

If you pair a hero, with white knight complex, and heroine, who refuses to be the damsel in distress, what do you get? A gripping action-mystery, with loads of magic, sarcasm and sass! And believe me, you'll love every second of it!

This is the kind of story where you will get nothing done until you get to the bottom of the mystery! One where you'll be so proud for girl power! And one that'll keep you wanting more after you finished reading this.

I honestly can't wait for more of Amanda and Alex!!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Quick and funny read 15 April 2017

I found this book by pure accident when scrolling through Facebook. A pic of Buffy and Captain America? I needed to hear more. I read the synopsis and it sounded good. I'm always a little iffy about debut authors work because it takes time to master that skill. This book was really good. I enjoyed almost every bit of it. Amanda or Manda is a very unlikeable character. She is just a bitch the entire book, but she's funny. Between her and Alex we are left with some very dislikable people. But the story was well written and kept me intrigued the entire time. Especially since no real answers about what the hell is going on were answered. I read the entire book in a couple of hours and now I'm ready to move on to book 2.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mesmerizing 26 January 2017

While I am not a fan of paranormal reads, this book was phenomenal! Besides the intense chemistry between the two main characters, Karma also had an incredible story line and an amazing mystery! It totally has the whole package!

You follow the story of Alex the hunter and Amanda the witch as they search for Alex's brother Jesse who got mixed up in a towns deep dark secret. Alex and Amanda have a steamy and heartbreaking past, and you will be pulling for them until the very end!

I totally recommend this book to everyone! Nadine Nightingale is definitely my next author to follow!
4.0 out of 5 stars Paranormal with a twist 27 June 2016

Karma by Nadine Nightingale
“Paranormal with a twist, 4.5 stars*

Karma by Nadine Nightingale is a paranormal romance. I instantly thought of the CW show Supernatural while I was reading this story. I am a huge Supernatural fan so I loved the book. Karma is about ex lovers getting together to save the heros brother whos gone missing.
Alex and Jesse are partners and are in constant contact. When Jesse goes MIA Alex knows there is only one person who can help him find his brother. Only issue is hes a hunter and Amanda is a witch. Working with witches goes against everthing Alex believes in. Toss in the fact that they have a romantic history and she lied to him about who she was, you have a disaster in the making.
Amanda cannot say no to Alex. She doesn’t want to help the man who broke her heart but her loyalty lies with Jesse. He saved her once so its her turn to repay the favor. Amanda just wants to start her normal life but can’t until this case is solved. Will Amanda be able to keep her secrets from Alex? Will his lack of faith in her put the two on opposite teams? Lastly will she be able to keep her feeling for Alex hidden from prying eyes?
I seriously loved this story. You have two brothers that work together to keep the paranormal at bay and a witch who will go against everything she believes in to help them. There wasn’t any romance in the story, unless you count the somtimes sexual tension between Alex and Amanda. I liked how the story was solid enough on its own without it. You want Alex and Amanda to get together, but you know it can’t happen yet.
Karma is probably my favorite paranormal book that I have reviewed in a very long time. It's one that I could go back and reread over and over. I cannot wait for the second book. I want to know what secrets the two are hiding and if Jesse is okay. Congratulations Nadie, you more then surprised me with this story and I look forward to the ones to follow.

5.0 out of 5 stars A friend recommended this book to me 7 August 2016
By Vampire - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Wow! A friend recommended this book to me, so I went in not really knowing what to expect. I didn't plan to devour the whole thing in two days or be on the edge of my seat, desperate to find out what happened next. This story was as much a romance novel as it was a suspenseful mystery. I felt like the character backstory was brought out slowly, making the reader curious as to who these people were and what their motivation was. While there were no full-on sex scenes, the anticipation of what might happen was actually even better. I loved the side characters from the Hero's brother to the Heroine's best friend. I would like them to get their own books one day. I really liked Amanda, the female protagonist, who just happened to be a witch. She stood up for herself, had no self confidence issues, and was very brazen. That's what I WANT in a main character. A girl who knows what she wants and goes after it, who speaks her mind and doesn't care about offending others. My only complaint is that this is part of a series and I have to wait until the next book comes out. I didn't want this installment to end and I could have happily kept on reading about these characters. When you turn the last page and still hunger for more, you know the author did a great job. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great read.
