This is the second Spirograph I have ordered of this make as I have been disappointed with very the quality and cost which appears to range from around £14 to £33 for very little. The size of the tin is only about 7 inches by 4 inches much smaller than I expected. So basically very small tin with a few plastic pieces and two pens. £17:99 is very expensive for what you get.

The ‘white tac’ was a bit tough so I bought some new stuff (cheap and easily got though). This set has given plenty of amusement once she got the hang of it.

Blue and red pens come with this so a set of coloured fine liners would be a good accompaniment to anyone buying this as a gift.

No regrets with this purchase.

Wow I remember my very first Spirograph and things haven’t changed when you get this kit.

Many patterns can be created using this set of circles the idea is you place the clear plastic ring onto paper and affix using the Putty then once that is down you choose one of the plastic circles or attachments put biro into one of the holds and start to dribble in a circular motion by doing this it guide the nib of your pen to a predefined pattern. Changing the hole you started with starts off a new pattern once you do this in varying colours amazing patterns can be made.

Super easy to use only thing different to original is you don’t have the pins and the putty doesn’t work that great so my advice is to use some blue tac works perfectly then.

I like the compact tin it's in . I really enjoy colouring and thought I'd be able to do some nice patterns and colour them . When I was a child I had a spirograph but don't recall someone showing me how to do it with the instructions it was all just hit n miss . I intend to use the guide and make some nice patterns and colour them using my gel pens and glitter pens .
Last night I babysat my granddaughter and spent along time just experimenting it was great
The rings seem flimsier than what they used to but mine will be taken care of

This is expensive for what you get. I was mistakenly led by the photographs so was expecting a much larger tin (I mean who actually measures a box before ordering?!) The photo shows a young boy holding the product. Due to the camera angle, the tin appears to be fairly large. It is not. It is smaller than a sheet of A4 paper. We bought for a Christmas present for a relative however, we shall be giving it my daughter instead and purchasing a different set. I liked the idea of a tin as it meant she could store her designs - will teach me for not measuring!
