This really is the true meaning of "less is more" in the world of jazz, if you don't have this album you should, a classic not just in the world of jazz but possibly one of the all time classic albums.
As for the pressing on vinyl, great clear, clean and crisp pressing which in blue just adds to the touch of class this album is

sounds pretty good, but reading the very positive reviews for the blue vinyl disc, tempted me to give it a try,
Glad I did! There is something almost organic about well cut and pressed vinyl, the instruments and playing just jump out of the speakers at you. The bass lines at times go almost infrasound with that delicious long note decay.
This album as well as Dave Brubeck’s Take Five should be in every new Jazz lover’s nascent collection. Thoroughly Recommended!
Anyway onto the vinyl itself, it arrives in perfect condition, the vinyl itself is a beautiful blue colour which is something really to admire. The sound is brilliant and for such a low price? Treat yourself.
