Product Description

Product Description

When I was ten, my father indoctrinated me into the family.

A brotherhood who would fight, protect, and give their lives for one another. A club whose ties ran thicker than blood, murkier than the dirt and grime that tainted my soul. Stronger than the bonds that connected me to my own family.

A band of brothers, where loyalty was kept and paid in a currency of blood.

When I was twenty-seven, I betrayed that brotherhood.

I’ve spent every day since running, avoiding paying back that debt.

My name is Daniel Johnson. I have betrayed everyone I ever loved.

And I’ll betray her too.

This is my story—if you’re screwed up enough to want to read it.

Warning: KICK contains graphic violence, profanity, drug use, and explicit sexual situations of a taboo nature. Intended for an 18+ audience only. Not intended for pussies.

Kick is a bad person. He values and respects nothing, including himself. His story that goes back in and out of time was terrible and scary. The topic didn't hurt me but it was hard to read at times. Carmen Jenna must have been in a dark place whilst writing this one but as always I loved the story. She's a creative, brave woman with a fantastic imagination that tears me apart until the next book. I loved all of the ladies in this novel. Kick deals with a whole lot of crap and managers to still be a sexy biker at the same time.

CARMEN JENNER what have you done to us!!!! Poor Kristy was left sleepless at 2am still thinking about Kick which lead to a book funk while Kayla was left unable to form the right words to describe what she’d just read.

First off let us start with the warning, Carmen has added it for a reason, don’t just skip past it, please.

For those of you who love a book with a warning like we do, you are going to love KICK. This is book 1 in the Savage Saints MC and this story is not for the faint hearted. There are times you will cringe and need to take a breather but you will be turning those pages like a maniac wondering what the hell is going to happen next. It is going to push your boundaries and test your limits. Its gory, dark and above anything we've read in the genera.

KICK isn’t a saint, he isn’t a knight in shining leather, nor is he a bad boy trying to save the good girl. KICK is dark, he’s gritty and raw, it’s the kind of book we love yet always have trouble finding the right words to do a book justice.

“I like to watch her cry. I taste her tears. I relish them. Because pain is beauty, at least in my world. And everything in my world is pain”

Daniel aka ‘Kick’ grew up as an MC brat, he knows the rules and how an MC works, sacrifice, brotherhood and loyalty. In every MC there is always a plethora of women at all the brothers disposal. Kick never really paid much attention to the club whores, the one woman he wanted was taken away from him. The day she was taken away from him it ffu€ked him up, with nothing left to lose Kick looks at life very differently, it changed him in so many ways.

“There’s violence and worship in his touch, and I’m drowning in both. Swallowed. Consumed. I savour it.

Page turning...

So many feelings were brought out with this book.

Most MC books share a side of the MC world that makes us dream of riding on the back of some HOT biker's bike... Kick shows us more of the ugly truth behind the broken damaged world of the MC life.

Most of the story is in Kick's POV. His confusion and hatred for the life he lives, and the secrets he's tormented with pour out of the pages and into your heart. You can't help but feel for this man.

Make no mistakes... Kick is a monster, a monster that was created and has festered in the dark world he lives.

Darkness doesn't seek out the light. It smothers the light, and it revels in the light's death. And there is nothing more dangerous than darkness the doesn't have an outlet

Indie has suffered unspeakable tortures... only to find herself in the hands of a different kind of monster...Vengeance seems to be the only way to cleanse herself of the nightmares that plague her.

Indie's story crushed me... I was seething with anger and hatred at her tormentors and wanted no craved their demise.

Carmen Jenner created a dark and brutal story that flew off the pages and captured my heart.

A story of strength,
And of love

Holy freakin batman, todo, we are DEFINITELY NOT in Sugartown no more! You want sugar, then turn around and move the f^*k on, 'cause this book ain't sunshine and lollipops. No sir-ree!

Wow. Mind was totally blown within the first few pages and not in a bad way even though some totally wacked up stuff happens. Ms Jenner is straight up at the beginning warning readers that this isn't going to be pretty.

This book contains what may be hard limits for some such as gang rape and stone cold execution style shootings, so if that's not something you think you can handle reading, than this definitely is not the book for you. Think, pulp fiction - if you've ever seen the movie (and I've only seen the last 15-20 mins and this book reminded me of that).

If you have read the Sugartown series, then you are already familiar with Kick (Daniel), a born and bred MC brat. Tatted, scared and hard core criminal tendencies are ingrained in him, which he acknowledges and doesn't apologize for.

One of the clubs old ladies is molested by the local dentist and Kick is sent in to pick him up. What he finds is not what he expects.

The abused and battered, Indie calls to Kick on some deep emotional level, reminding him of the love and loss he once felt in Lauren, a girl who paid the ultimate price for being involved with him.

I can't say I enjoyed the book as such, yet I couldn't put it down. Enjoyed seems too … perky and happy for how I felt. I think awed and fascinated are more accurate to describe my feelings. It definitely was eye opening and if it wasn't for being brilliantly written then I think it would have been a DNF. This book was hard core gritty, real and totally refreshing.
