Originally published by, yup, Jerry Thomas in 1862, not a lot has changed behind a bar, aside from more fruit, imported liqueurs (aside from bitters, vermouth, and Curaçao, which are quite prevalent in these recipes), a greater amount of mixers, and, most importantly, NO EGGS.
