It came packaged quite well.
Just like the round version, the grill has already warped from the heat so we may need some spares.
The size is enough for a larger fish and some veggies, or a couple 200 gram steaks with some space for veggies or another steak haha.
I have cooked veggies, seafood and steak on this and they all came out great.
I own both this and the round version.
The tongs are pretty cheap and I will not be using them. (I do not trust the green paint.)
A few other reviewers have complained about cracking or deterioration in the rain. I take care to warm it up slowly with a few coals at first before loading it up with red hot coals that don't touch the sides. I also allow it to cool down slowly before moving. Lastly I don't let it get wet because the clay seems quire absorbent. I highly recommend using a charcoal starter because coals take forever to light in the bbq.
Apart from the above, it's adequate for 2-3 people. Well insulated, so you can have it on a wooden table or board without issue, and the riser plates provide excellent venting so that air circulates through the coals to keep the nice and hot. Have only used less than a dozen times, so - not durable enough to warrant buying another identical version.

We have used it about 5 times so far. It is very good at the job it does. You probably need an additional grill grate on top - if you are grilling saucy meat the sauce will stick and blacken and you need a replacement grill grate (this is what they do at koren BBQ restaurants).
I would consider the lodge cast iron bbq if you're looking for an extremely durable grill, however it will not perform as this hibachi does (you can't put cast iron burning coals on a table, but this unit you can).
4/5 for authentic hibachi. minus 1 star for durability.
This little grill has given me so many awesome moments!!!
I absolutely love having dinner with my family (4 of us) and have also had a group of 10 guys around it, just chillin and drinking beers etc. while barbequing our meat.
Also helps to get good meat.
Here in Australia, I just go to Coles and pickup the coles branded wagyu or angus porterhouse or scotch fillet.
I've also tried some japanese wagyu but can be costly at $90AUD per kg. Coles wagyu is around $40AUD per kg.
I've also tried lump charcoal from bunnings for that smoked flavour, but also just use the heat beads from woolies/coles.
