The cook book is a nice change of pace to Pinterest where I am often overwhelmed with all the choices. Sometimes it is nice to go and just pick up a book and look at the ingredients and the pictures of the food in real-time.
As a US "cousin" I had no trouble making the metric conversions, and appropriate nuances such as courgettes in place of zucchini.
But, as a mid-level cook, the recipes are not 15-minutes meals unless you've done the recipe many, many times. I've done a few of the recipes several times and have it down to 30-45 minutes - not including watching the appropriate episode first for the extra tips. But even at 45 minutes - that's good for me. I've learned a lot about speeding up the cooking process from both the TV series and the book.
I like that there is a lot of room in the margins for notes, and that there are a fair amount of fish & vegetarian recipes.
Overall this is a good cookbook, and becomes a great cookbook when used with the TV series. Also, the dealer who sent my book from the UK to the US was amazingly fast (7-10 days).
