The shears are a very good quality for the money. The blades are nice and heavy, while the long handles are tubular (hollow), so the weight is not excessive. I now plan to purchase this same company's long-handled edging shears, as I know I will be happy with their quality. Don't think you need to put out $80 plus for the more expensive long-handled grass shears on Amazon -- these work beautifully and should hold up fine with occasional sharpening and good care of the blades.
Box it was shipped in was too small- and the blade point was sticking out of the box. Not sure how else it could be shipped but it doesn’t seem to be damaged.
