I ordered the Jabra 75t earbuds from Amazon and received the package within a couple of days. I quickly unboxed them to find a very slick looking case & earbuds and proceeded to update the firmware. Within a few minutes I was able to pair the buds to both my Galaxy 10 as well as work iPhone 11 without any issues.
The earbuds felt very comfortable, lightweight and most importantly didn’t feel like I had a foreign object in my ear. While moving around or bending down they remained in place and didn’t feel like they would fall out, a problem i have with many earbuds. The first test was playing a song and the quality was top notch. I expected the Jabras to be good quality earbuds but just how good they sounded was a pleasant surprise. Perhaps using my corded phone branded headphones and Bluetooth running headphones for the last couple of months I had gotten accustomed to an inferior sound quality.
The second and more important test was to use them on my commute. I take the bus to work and wait for the bus on a rather noisy street. I first tried them with music, both with some acoustic songs as well as some other genres. The sound was crisp, blocked most of the ambient noise and made sitting on a bus rather enjoyable. I couldn't hear the bus or the chatter from the people on it while listening to music at moderate volume. I also tried a few podcasts of varying quality since some of the lower quality ones I can't listen to on the bus as I miss quite a lot of what is said, with all the background noise. Happily with the Jabras I am able to listen to all my podcasts at a volume that is not too loud so I don't have to worry about damaging my hearing.
The last test was to make a call on them and again they performed very well with clarity for both myself and the person on the other end of the line. The Jabra app allows you to view the last known location in case you misplace them, something that I will hopefully never use but good to know it's there. From the app you can also play ambient noise such as white and pink noise, rain, waterfall, brook among others for those time where you want to drown out any noise around you; it's already proven useful at work. Another nifty feature the Jabras offer is passthrough; clicking on the left bud will allow some outside noise in. This is useful for when you still want to listen to music or podcasts, but still need to be able to hear something from the outside world such as someone speaking to you, doorbell, etc.
Overall I highly recommend these earbuds. From the comfort, quality, price and excellent battery life perspective, you'd be hard pressed to find a pair that would do a better job.
Just started using my Jabra 75t headphones and I am super impressed with the size and weight. After years of Jiu Jitsu I have a lot of problems getting head phones to fit my ears but these are awesome.
The Hear Through function is amazing, not having to take you headphones off when talking to someone in the gym is brilliant as well as being able to hear you voice on the phone so you don’t end up yelling without noticing makes being on the phone in public very discreet.
I love music and being able to make your own EQ settings in the app for different genres is a cool function.
The ear pieces are light and feel like they are of good quality. They sit snugly in the ear canal and rest within the ear lobe. They are pretty discreet. Very quick to pair & connect.
I suggest trying all the ear pieces for the best fit. I am not a runner but they stay firmly in my ear when doing parenting things!
The charging case is small and easy to keep in your pocket with you all day long. When charging it I find the green charging light is extremely bright in room at night so I taped it up. It would be great if it charged wirelessly!
They turn on as soon as you take them out the case and turn off when you return them - no more surprises after having left them on for the night only to take flat earphone with you! When returning them to the case, the magnets automatically align and snap them in place to charge - it couldn't be simpler!
I haven't come anywhere close to being caught with a flat headphone or case battery... they really to last long!
The handy and intuitive app allows you to set your moments and always have the instruction manual on hand for the Mortal Combat death move key combinations with the 2 buttons (1 on each ear piece). The app can even help you track where you last had each ear piece in case you lose one. It monitors the battery level for the case and the main (right) ear piece and appears within the notification window too when connected (Android).
One eared operation is great too. I tend to use it in public this way more often when having to interact with people.
Sounds are fantastically clear with a surprisingly solid bass. The earpiece seals in your ear allowing for a wonderful noise cancellation. You can customise the equaliser for various moments on the app.
I had a tinny sound on my first call and adjusted my preferences relatively easily in the app to fix it. The other caller party could hear me perfectly.
I tried taking a nap with them - they work well blocking ambient noises until you turn over and the volume goes up / down / turns off.
I would absolutely recommend these Jabra headphones!
