5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Book
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 October 2017
Johanna Basfords new book is her best book to date. I didn't really like her Xmas book or Magical Jungle but she has more than made up for it with this book. The pictures are not too intricate and not too sparse. The story is wonderful and would be a fabulous book to colour and read to your child. The pictures range from flowers to Ivy and fabulous dragons. I can't praise this book enough. The paper is the same as Magical Jungle and coloured pencils blend and layer beautifully. Any avid colourist will love this book. JB has outdone herself with this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best colouring book ever!!!

Superb book! Currently my favourite out of all the books I have! It has everything in it! Flowers, animals, leafs, people, houses, dragons, mandala... Name it and is there! A beautiful fairytale for you to colour. The quality of the paper is top of the top! I’ve used pencils, gels pens, inktense, watercolours, glitter glues, fixative spray.. everything! And nothing bleads through or anything like that! It has big 2 spread pages or little small things at the edge of the page next to the text. So are you in the mood for smth small? Or you prefer smth bigger? You can find everything there! The perfect gift! Also you can gift it to your child once is finished! Im in love with it!

Johanna Basford has done it again! This book is amazing... I purchased two to share with my Daughter as this was her choice after magical forest. Using Faber-Castell pencils we colour in the same pages but totally different.
Would love Johanna to make more of these story books but have already pre ordered her next book for Daughter and I.
Keep up the amazing work Johanna! !
EDIT..
It has now been over a year since purchase and this book is the most completed colouring book in my collection of about nine or ten books!
This was my first dip into adult colouring books, so has a special place in my heart.
In the last year my colour pencil collection has progressed to Prisma Premiers but my go to colouring book remains "Ivy and the Inky Butterfly".
