This book was absolutely amazing, not your typical vampire novel either, I enjoy Insta love type of books but in honesty get sick of them but Irresistible drew me in from the start as it wasn't that type of book. It had me racing to finish it because it kept me on my toes the whole time trying to figure out what was coming next and I would recommend it to anyone looking to find a book that is an amazing blend of characters and a well woven story

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good start to series 11 August 2016

This book starts of with a peek of a brutal past for Endre then the chapters start with a pretty mundane tell of Nora's life. It all seems so normal then bam Endre appears again and all hell breaks loose. This is a dark tale and I wonder where it's all heading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wicked and deliciously addicting! 13 July 2016
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Let's me be honest, my reading shelf has been having a really hard time finding books that make me want to keep reading. Then came Dark Romance and I was excited about reading again but still missed a good paranormal. It was what I used to always read. It was seriously my go to genre but lately the choices fizzled--until now! This book was dark, intense, and gave me the vampire lore I grew up remembering. Endre is wicked and deliciously addicting but damn the man for growing under your skin by the end of the book. If you're squeamish or a tender heart, this is not the book for you but if you're ready for something refreshing, get this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Review contains a minor spoiler 12 September 2016
By smk - Published on Amazon.com
Let’s start with the prologue. Endre is a vampire who’s been working on something to cure vampires, bringing them back to human. Endre’s so called "friend' frames him for murder to steal his idea and profit on it. Punishment for a crime he did not commit, they burry Endre so he can die a slow painful death by starvation.
Now we can jump to 90 years later. Nora is in college to become an archeologist. When she gets the chance to do an internship in Paris, she jumps on it. Can you take a guess where she will be digging? Awaken Endre, to rip into Nora’s neck and bring life back into him. As Nora’s blood beings to fuel life back into him he discovers Nora’s blood is tainted, because she is ill. Nora doesn’t have long to live so either Endre ends it or the illness will, but he has a quick change in heart and feeds her some of his blood. With Endre’s blood Nora survives, but she is now bound to him….actually she’s more like his prisoner. He feeds off of her when it suits him, and it’s not a simple love bite. In this book a vampire’s bite hurts, it rips the skin open painfully, and Endre always drinks Nora’s blood until she is too weak to escape. I was irritated by the way he treats Nora like nothing more than a piece of meat, a blood bank, and he toss her around, physically abusing her. Nora is a mouthy little thing, who frequently tries to stand her ground, so *insert sarcasm* of course it’s her fault that he puts his hands on her. All that may have been irritating to me, but then I became very bothered by the fact Nora finds Endre very attractive, even after everything he’s done to her. Then I became disgusted that she willingly gave her body to him. To say the least, Nora needs a head check, because this is not how a relationship should be…especially not with your captor. After time Endre realizes that he’s in love with Nora, but that certainly doesn’t stop him from abusing her. By the end of this book, all I can say is, these two freaks are meant for each other!
This review is mostly about the relationship between Nora and Endre, but there’s also the main story about how Endre wants revenge on his traitor friend, and he wants to continue to find the cure. The story idea is great, but I won’t be reading the second book, because Endre and Nora’s relationship is too messed up for my liking.
