Short Summary of the book:
What I expected was a book able to improve my management skills. And this might be what it is. The only problem being it is a very dry textbook and has a strong emphasis of religion/belief systems. This unfortunately put me off from the start and I had to force myself to read the book.
I believe the book will provide great support and advice to some people, unfortunately it was no for me.
What I liked about the book:
The aim of the book to help others in becoming better managers.
What I didn’t like about the book:
The dryness of the text book and the strong emphasis on meditating, religion and beliefs.

Repetition of some lists.

I believe this is a stand-alone book and I am not aware there are currently any further books by this author.

This book is similar to dry textbooks with one difference. There is a strong emphasis on the importance of religion and belief systems in this book.

There is one thing I know... whichever road you choose you will always end up back at the same destination!

One path makes it a little easier and this book gives you that path.

It's not a success if the bank account, company profile, and profits look good and you don't feel good.

From a bird's eye view, there are certain ironic synchronicities that become visible when viewing Christie Turley's book at a 42 degree angle (the 42 degrees reference is explained in the book, and it's just one of many analogies that powerfully paint Christie's insights with clarity).

Much of the book hinges on the idea that business and marketing (and life) aren't cookie cutter processes. Too often, gurus aim for a "one-size-fits-all" system toward business mastery in an attempt to sell the idea of duplicable results to the masses. While these "systems" may yield short term results, many of them grow stale in the storm of mass deployment. This book also validates that the roller coaster of the entrepreneurial journey is OH SO REAL…and you are not alone with those doubtful second-guessing thoughts.
