Product description

Product Description

The Isaac Newton: a space ark designed with the purpose of taking the best and brightest from the crumbling remains of Earth and sending them on a voyage to colonise a new planet, but this time civilisation would be done right. The crew included the world's foremost scientists, engineers, biologists and chemists. On their long voyage they would apply their brilliant minds to creating a brighter tomorrow on Earth 2.0.

Unfortunately, the hitch in the plan was that not a single one of these great minds could, or would: boil an egg, operate a washing machine, or scrub a toilet. A whole second crew of blue collar support staff was brought on board to deal with the innumerable little issues which made day to day life run smoothly on board the ship. While the academics reckoned themselves above issues like disagreements that might descend into violence (they weren't but that's another story) the level of crime and disorder associated with the lower-level crew members became a real concern. As a result: two lawyers were added to the crew.

Bing Mulholland was one of these lawyers. Following a minor disagreement with, and subsequent divorce from, his scientist ex-wife, Bing finds himself living and working among the blue-collar crew.
