Bob McGannon is an established and talented educator, leader and influencer - in this book not only he shares the concept of Intelligent Disobedience, but also gives practical tried-and-true tactics, storytelling tools and lessons learned. This is actually my favorite part of the book - tangible, testable tactics and techniques I can apply to start practicing Intelligent Disobedience in a strategic and thought through way and to observe how these new behaviors and attitudes enable my leadership and the leadership of the team around me.
I am a senior, experienced manager with a fortune 25 firm (and a former PAC 10 business school professor), who strongly recommends this book for anyone wanting to improve their leadership competencies and influence. This book correctly links ethics and principles to management / leadership practices - with an appropriate emphasis on personal responsibility. I look forward to reading this book a second time. - many nuggets of insights. - easy to read. Highly recommended.
