Intangible Management is a scathingly irreverent look at corporate cultures from the perspective of the performers in your organization. It analyzes the dynamics of empire building that encourage cultures of avoidance and blame in many organizations, resulting in a great deal of deadwood – unproductive employees and processes. This book analyzes and explores insights and suggestions for how to build an organization that enables your highly effective performers to produce. The uncensored critiques and fresh strategies are definitely not the typical vanilla advice that one is offered in most management books and articles. But as the author points out, uncommon success is never achieved by following common advice.

A quick skim

Some very limited useful information. Would be a beneficial read for a new manager leading a team but there is nothing earth shattering in the text. Some of it honestly seemed like a combination of a TV Guide interview and a commentary of a Dilbert cartoon.
