Product description

Review

I have lived and worked in China for 12 years and read many books on China. This book is unique and insightful as it combines both Chinese and Western perspectives shared by two seasoned 'China hands'.
Alistair Nicholas, Asia Vice President, Weber Shandwick

From ancient wisdom to contemporary war stories, from practical guidelines to entertaining anecdotes, social, political, and business issues are all balanced wonderfully throughout the book I have learnt a lot about China and the Chinese.
Larry Hochman, European Business Speaker of the Year and author of The Relationship Revolution

Intelligent, informative, and revealing a must for anyone planning to travel or do business in China.
Arthur Sturgess,
Ex-President, BBDO Asia

Helen and Geoff have built a bridge between Chinese and Western thinking, creating an extraordinary guide for personal and professional relationships.
John and Doris Naisbitt,
authors of China's Megatrends: 8 Pillars of a New Society

Marvelously perceptive, finding a balance between two worlds. A useful reminder that only when we engage in a foreign culture do we discover our own.
Professor Charles Hampden-Turner,
Cambridge, UK --Finn Tarp --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
