About the Author

Aurora Rey is a college dean by day and lesbian romance author the rest of the time, except when she's cooking, baking, riding the tractor, or pining for goats. She grew up in a small town in south Louisiana, daydreaming about New England. After a brief dalliance with biochemistry, she completed both a BA and an MA in English. Every October so many of my favorite authors have simultaneous releases. This year, after purchasing four books at once, I chose to read this one first. I found it to be so enjoyable. I loved the characters, enjoyed the move to England, reveled in the hot sex, and swooned as the main characters fell in love. (The relationship between their best friends is begging for a sequel...)

As with the rest of Aurora Rey's books, it makes my heart happy. The story of Cam and Lauren shows personal growth strength of connection and love. Lauren goes to England when her Great Uncle passes, a man she barely knew. Her life was already in upheaval and took the opportunity in full force. Cam is stuck in her ways and resilient to change. In order to control some of that she and Lauren barter different aspects that will both promote their interests. Chemistry notwithstanding they figure a way to work together. Their attraction to each other is off the charts. I love this story and it is on my lists of rereads. I happily look forward to more from Aurora Rey.
