About the Author
Aurora Rey is a college dean by day and lesbian romance author the rest of the time, except when she's cooking, baking, riding the tractor, or pining for goats. She grew up in a small town in south Louisiana, daydreaming about New England. She keeps a special place in her heart for the South, especially the food and the ways women are raised to be strong, even if they're taught not to show it. After a brief dalliance with biochemistry, she completed both a BA and an MA in English. She is the author of the Cape End Romance series and has been a finalist for the Lambda Literary and Golden Crown Literary Society awards. She lives in Ithaca, New York, with her dogs and whatever wildlife has taken up residence in the pond. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

Rest assured that you'll enjoy every part of this romance. Well-written, thoughtful characters, descriptive locations, some great knowledge-building when it came to the careers of the characters. And best of all, great chemistry and romance!

Another fabulous book from Miss Rey. So far I have enjoyed all her books, looking forward to the next one.
3 1/2 starsReviewed in Canada on 21 October 2019
Loved the story of two strong women working and playing together without the catty bickering you see in so many stories. The flow of the story could have been smoother with less repetition of events that occurred only a handful of pages earlier.
Another excellent A.R. book for the collection!Reviewed in the United States on 21 October 2019
Every October so many of my favorite authors have simultaneous releases. This year, after purchasing four books at once, I chose to read this one first. I found it to be so enjoyable. I loved the characters, enjoyed the move to England, reveled in the hot sex, and swooned as the main characters fell in love. (The relationship between their best friends is begging for a sequel...)

Happy HeartReviewed in the United States on 2 January 2021
As with the rest of Aurora Rey's books, it makes my heart happy. The story of Cam and Lauren shows personal growth strength of connection and love. Lauren goes to England when her Great Uncle passes, a man she barely knew. Her life was already in upheaval and took the opportunity in full force. Cam is stuck in her ways and resilient to change. In order to control some of that she and Lauren barter different aspects that will both promote their interests. Chemistry notwithstanding they figure a way to work together. Their attraction to each other is off the charts. I love this story and it is on my lists of rereads. I happily look forward to more from Aurora Rey.
