Inappropriate Kindle Edition
A new, sexy standalone novel from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland.
Terminated for inappropriate behavior.
I couldn't believe the letter in my hands.
Nine years. Nine damn years I'd worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba.
All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends--a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought...
Pissed off, I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company and its practices.
I didn't think he'd actually respond.
I certainly never thought I'd suddenly become pen pals with the rich jerk.
Eventually, he realized I'd been wronged and made sure I got my job back.
Only...it wasn't the only thing Grant Lexington wanted to do for me.
But there was no way I was getting involved with my boss's boss's boss. Even if he was ridiculously gorgeous, confident, and charming.
It would be completely wrong, inappropriate even.
Sort of like the video that got me into trouble to begin with.
Two wrongs don't make a right.
But sometimes it's twice as fun.

I loved Ireland she was fierce yet vulnerable. Unapologetically herself. Her emails were hilarious and bad ass. She was exactly what Grant needed. He had such a tragedy happen to him and he had turned shallow to avoid love happening to him again. Thankfully Ireland broke through as those two deserved nothing but the best. So glad they got their HEA.

Ireland gets sacked from something she does off the clock but someone in the company finds out and she gets fired. Rules are rules but after getting drunk to drown her sorrows she emails the boss to tell him exactly what she thinks of those rules!
Grant is a workaholic. He hasn't got much else in his life to fill his time. Being the boss he's used to everyone bowing down to him so when an email comes through to him from a disgruntled ex employee it amuses him rather than annoys him. No one ever talks back to him so he fires off a reply in the same tone as hers. The next day he receives another from her and decides to look into the matter of her dismissal.
Ireland goes to clean her desk out and fate brings her into contact with Grant.
What follows is a story of hope and forgiveness that in the end will have a great big smile spread across your face!
Bloody loved these two! The passion between them is off the charts! Both of them needing something from the other they didn't know they needed.
Loved Ireland! Although shes kind of a fun free spirited woman she's also very responsible. I loved how she made Grant wait and took it slow. I get on her side why she did this to protect herself and i think it was best for Grant too. Sometimes when this happens it can halt a books pace but not with this one it actually added to it. The build up is incredible and you just hold on for the ride.
Grant. Where do i start?! Theres so many layers to him! As he's picked apart layer by layer i can guarantee you that you will fall hook line and sinker for him. The flashbacks chapters for him will break your heart. You will love him wholeheartedly no matter what he does because his backstory is tragic but in the end it just shows you the strength of the man! I love him!
The chemistry between these two is off tge charts! Sexy times were on fire! Every time Grant dirty talked... phewwww *fan's self* yes please!
The whole plot and storyline had me reading non-stop. I loved the flashback chapters too. It was kind of like two love stories in one. Grants past tragic love story to present day uplifting epic love story. It really worked here and has made this, one of my favorite books of recent times.
The ending was just perfect, it gave me all the warm fuzzies and left me closing out that book knowing all was ok in that world. Perfect.
Love, love, loved this book and highly recommend!!
👫Ireland & Grant
I read the bio of this expecting some forbidden romance of boss/employee, and it started off strong with her being inappropriate via email and had some good banter going between the two. VERY 50 shades esk with the CEO who was in foster care etc.
But very quickly in it changed direction. The pair communicated VERY well, very healthy relationship - but they switched between intense feelings to being smutty - and I'm obviously broken as I found this just didn't for me, they were too open and honest - it just made the smut feel wrong in a way? Plus it wasn't really smutty at all, other than a few scenes, it mostly skipped to the next day.
(The big direction change was a shocker, took the book in a different direction and definitely in need of a TW for those who may be affected by the topics covered)
I wasn't in love with the book - I found it just a bit all over the place, it will be forgettable to me, which is a shame - I love a good forbidden, tense, spicy office romance. Also, her name? Ireland? Wasn't a fan.
WOW just WOW!! Inappropriate is without a doubt Vi Keeland’s best book to date.
The story of Ireland and Grant pulled me in from the beginning.
I love the laughter, the bickering & banter between the characters. Ireland is a sassy, driven and funny woman who does not go down without a fight! Grant is just the epitome of the alpha male with a damaged soul. His vulnerability and his cockiness make him so sexy but it is the love he has for his pops and their relationship that me made swoon so badly. Ireland is undeniably the Yin to his Yang.
VK's words flow, and the pages just fly by, her words take you on a journey through the life of the two main characters. Some of the situations are hysterically funny, and some were heart-breaking . For me, all the characters come to life, and reading her book(s) is almost like watching a movie. As always, the supporting characters are great, you feel the camaraderie and the closeness.
What an emotional read with laugh-out-loud moments and tender, poignant scenes that brought tears to my eyes. I am speechless at how wonderful this book was.
This story between a girl who gets fired after her holidays which she is in a private beach on her own time which she is entitled to has me from the start .
I couldn’t put the book down , read through the night .
The story between Grant and Ireland just unfolds and each step the take forward they would take one backwards as it seems but in doing so they put all their eggs in the basket and make way for a beautiful fictional tale which was just perfect .
I love a good read of emotions , heartache , sexual chemistry, the ups and downs and always the hea!
It was strongly put together the pair were for each other Grant completed Ireland’s flare . His honesty was refreshing for a male character and she was a string female none of this hun drum sob story to leave you feeling mixed emotions and almost like you’ve been on a rollercoaster ride .
I completely fell in love with how easily people can work forward and make new relations work because they have had some crazy skeletons in their past relationships.
Highly recommend this book I will certainly be looking out for more by this author .
