Product Description

I’ve only been living in the Magicborn world for a few weeks now. But when I’m yanked from sleep by a demon’s blade at my throat, I know we’ve got a problem on our hands. It’s not a run-of-the-mill Nequam, either, but a deadly Caedis. And someone sent him for me.

If that isn’t enough to deal with, the city’s most powerful spellcasters are turning up dead and the Fidei, the order that polices our kind, is sniffing around our coven. It’s no secret that the Magicborn community has no love for our ragtag group, and now it looks like we’re being framed for murder.

Keeping this coven out of prison is going to be a serious challenge, partly because of the secrets that I can’t bring myself to share with the others. My magic’s been malfunctioning. My dreams are being invaded. And my brain’s always spinning, wondering if Matt will ever break the archaic vow that stops him from admitting his feelings for me.

Can the only way out of this mess really be risky alliances with a dangerous vampire and a dark witch who’s betrayed me in the past?

Ignite, the second book in the Coven of Fire series by Sierra Cross, will have you turning the pages to get your fix of forbidden romance, dangerous alliances, and deadly magical secrets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Igniting the path for the next one - keep up the good work Alix and your coven 16 July 2017
By Alison - Published on
I would probably recommend you read the first book in this series (Rise) to get the most enjoyment out of this book. Alix and her new coven are under fire and suspicion, can they discover the truth and save the day before the evil takes over? Alix still has plenty of doubts in her ability as a witch, can she get confident and work with her coven in time? I loved her rag tag coven, normally a coven is made up of just witches but her coven has a guardian (Matt, a man she is deeply attracted to), a warlock (Asher, a womaniser willing to take risks for the coven), and another witch (Liv, a witch she grew up with). The story ends without you feeling like you were robbed of the ending, but certainly is leading onto the next story in the series :)
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars The struggle continues as she learns to control her magic ... 9 July 2017
By Teri Hicks - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
The struggle continues as she learns to control her magic along with her feelings for Matt. The team as a whole is running to keep themselves out of trouble and to find out who is framing them. Betrayal is around every corner and now they have to find out who their enemies are to get things back on track. At the same time Matt is having some serious problems and control may be the least of her problems.

Loads of twistedness going on and as the series progresses this author is growing. The second book of the series is even better than the first. And with that ending the third book is looking good too. Great read.
5.0 out of 5 stars that a war was fought and won by the good coven. I know Aunt Jenn is a bad ... 13 July 2017

Format: Kindle Edition
Book 2 and if you didn't read book 1 there are spoilers. Now I know about the Demongate in a Park, in a cave, that a war was fought and won by the good coven. I know Aunt Jenn is a bad witch and an adversary. Our heroine has a support group and lost 1 of her best bud to the bad side. sad...There are different levels of Demons but no worry for a protector with knives and runes with our heroine's fire can't deal with. Unrequited passion is still an issue but onward. (“Oh, by the way, the seal on the Demongate is failing,” Asher deadpanned. ) And the magic good and bad, the demons, the vampires, greed, witches and warlocks, power driven, and a new/old villain story begins. It is a fun adventure only this book sets up a more complex challenge for the coven. Definitely going for the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Could Not Put Down 5 July 2017
By sassy lashes - Published on
I thought Alix and her coven had their work cut out for them in the first book, but just about everyone is against them in this one. Throw in secrets that could destroy their group and a "big bad" who tugs at your heartstrings, and this book had me all over the place. And Matt... he is driving me crazy (in the best way). This was such a fun read, and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
