I wish I knew about this book years ago. Almost every page was a lightbulb moment for me. I'm not a failure or unworthy just because I don't measure up to the current media image of a woman. I encourage readers to take the time to do the exercises in the book and to re-read the book often.
I am tired of feeling not good enough because I am overweight. This book has a lot of practical ideas and some very sound reasoning. I have begin thus approach and I am feeling good.
I wish I read this book thirty years ago, it would have saved me thirty years of disordered eating. The concept is so simple and practical. Who would have thought it? A must read for anyone who struggles with weight, body image, disordered eating or their relationship with food.
If I had enough money, I would give all my friends this book. Its made me stop and breath. Its written in a manner that makes you wonder why so many people put themselves through the hell of dieting and stopping and dieting and stopping. A good good book. Well recommended!
This is one of the best books on managing eating disorders that I've ever read(and I have read them all!). It's sound, practical and very inspiring indeed. Highly recommended.
