Wanting a love, like a Christmas tree, lightning up when that person walks into a room. A look into the eyes, and you melt. A puzzle piece of you that had been missing. As years go by, in the day to day living, the memories of these are treasured. It could be just a dream, of a moment, that will last you a lifetime. To have taken the risks, when it does come, how ever long or short it may be. There maybe a second chance, or not. For me, I thought this was a treasure of love, life and memories, very well done. Readers will definitely enjoy this glimpse of a love. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Really enjoyed this story but was a bit confused by the ending it was very good up until the last chapter as I couldn’t unerstsnd where the main character was coming from which was disappointing as I had enjoyed it up until them. I even reread the last chapter to see what it was all about buvIvwas none the wiser.

This is a sweet book and a quick read perfect for a rainy afternoon.
Is much is I like this book and found myself immersed in the story, the epilogue came out of left field. It’s content and mood had nothing to do with what was previously presented. Who was the person mulling over what could have been? Was it the female protagonist? Was it her husband? Could it have been her grandmother? I wish I knew. I had to read it three times to try and understand what it was trying to convey.
Enjoyed the book until the end.

If I Had Married You was an emotional roller coaster and I enjoyed the ride. Ms. Edwards did an excellent job portraying the high's and low's of relationships centered around military life and a couple's unrelenting and unwavering love for each other. This was a quick and fulfilling read proving that with hope, memories and imagination true love is possible.

I would highly recommend this story and look forward to reading more from this author.
