Product Description

My life was simple... until Bo Brendon crashed into my lap. Shy girls aren't my thing, yet somehow, she's under my skin and in my head. It's a f*cking nightmare. Yet it's a nightmare I don't want to give up.

Jax Marshall was an accident. A really sexy, smart, incredibly smooth, hot... accident. He's the kind of guy you shouldn't fall in love with, because he could crush you with barely any effort. Especially someone like me. Either it will be the best thing to ever happen to me, or it will be the disaster that leaves me in ruins.

I guess I'll find out.

You know your in for another interesting read from C M Owens when the book starts of with identical twins and one of them breaking up with the others boyfriend because her sister just can't do it. Bo arrives to dump her sisters boyfriend and the fun begins. Starting with a holiday that she takes in her sisters place with Jax. Jax not knowing that he isn't with Bora but instead her sister Bo thinks there may be some body snatchers involved. After a slight incident Bo need to move everyone to her house and the secret of her not being Bora is about to come undone. After having Jax's mother call her a god digging whore, Bo enjoys the moment that his mum realises just exactly whose house she is at. When Bo and Bora's dad arrives the fun begins. Jax finding out that Bo's dad is on his mum's cheat list that she made years ago isn't helping. As things begin to not fit Jax starts to think he could be right about Bo being taken by a body snatcher. Things go from bad to worse for Bo pretending to be Bora and it doesn't help that her father is edging things along and laughing at her the whole time. When Bo's dad nearly blows her cover you will be in fits of laugher. When Jax accidentally discovers the truth he decides to play for a while without telling Bo. Bringing on big penises, saving the penguins. When Bo's blood turns to lava and she feels fire licking her core things start to heat up. Once the secret is out the heat turns up and so does the humour with none of them coping with Bo's dad walking around in speedos all the time. Both Bo and Jax start to wonder what is going to happen after they return home. Work commitments keep them apart for a week but when they meet up its explosive. Neither one of them wanting to say that what they have is more than fun.Read more ›

I am so disappointed in this book. I've enjoyed The Sherling Shores series however this one is such a let down. The plot (identical twin swapping places initially) is ridiculous and while I know these books aren't 'real life', it's up to the author to draw you in to the storyline and keep you engaged and this book didn't do that at all. The only reason I've given two stars instead of one is that the humorous scenes are still laugh out loud moments, however even with this I can't help drawing comparisons to RL Mathewson books. I'd I had of read this book as first time coming across this author, I wouldn't be purchasing any more, it's only that I've enjoyed CM Owens other books in this series that still keeps me a fan of her writing.

I absolutely loved this book!!

Thank you again for such a great read CM Owens!

I give Identical Disaster 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bo finds herself in an awkward position when her identical twin sister Bora sends her to break up with her current boyfriend, not the first time she's done this for her sister but this time Bora hasn't told Bo that her boyfriend Jax is expecting her to go away with him on a family vacation to Hawaii.

Bo ends up going with Jax and his family pretending to be her sister Bora, however Bo is nothing like her sister at all and Jax can't work out what's so different but he's beginning to like it.

I loved this book from the get go and found myself laughing many times at the wild and funny stories that are discussed between family members.

Bo and Jax fall for each other and although it's not ideal it just works.

Bo becomes a strong independent woman and learns to stand up for herself and Jax falls for someone he never though he would!

These two are great for each other and I was hooked from start to finish!

Yet another great instalment to the Sterling Shore family and can't wait to get hooked on the next one!!

Thanks CM Owens for another awesome read!!!

Identical Disaster

Jax: is a private person who doesn’t have time for a relationship, hates clingy girls, shy girls and quiet girls.

Bo: is an identical twin who is always looking out for others forgoing her own wants or needs to make others happy and feel wanted and appreciated.
Bo is everything Jax would normally walk away from but he cannot work out why she draws him in so much.

Identical Disaster was an amazing read, dealing with yet another break up request from her twin sister Bora – Bo sets out to break it off with Jax but what she finds when he opens his door makes her double think the task she is sent to complete. Jax has no idea that Bo is Bora’s twin when they go away on a family vacation to Hawaii, disaster strikes within the first few days and life is about to get interesting (and hilarious).
There were so many funny scenes in this book that had me snorting with laughter,
#My meat shooting moment
#My crutch would melt the Arctic – poor little penguins
# you have…….a spank room
#Tampon bouquet
#It’s you’re fake period anniversary!
#Bo is phenomenal
But this book is also so much more than a funny, laugh out loud book. It is also story about someone who is always letting people and family walk all over her, talk over the top of her and not acknowledge what she thinks or what she has to say.
Bo gets to breaking point in her life where she cannot take it anymore after a betrayal she never saw coming, she snaps and breaks but what she becomes on the other side is a new and improved Bo. Someone family and friends no longer take for granted and walk over.
