I'm going to get straight to the point.
This keyboard is amazing, it feels premium.
And it's durable.
The color output is good and bright.
Also you can customize it to the way you like it (the RGB).
The one and only con is that the keys are very nice and all but, sensitive.
While gaming I will sometimes accidentally hit the spacebar but, it will probably be easy to grow used to.
In conclusion, this keyboard is well worth the ~$110. Honestly, I can see this keyboard selling for even $140 and I still wouldnt complain!!
The problem seems to be LShift. On both boards I've received LShift rattles, and alternates between feeling mushy and stiff. The switch seems to at least register actuation alright, but it's really not acceptable to have a key feel this bad, especially when that key is used by a huge number of games and this keyboard is primarily marketed as a gaming keyboard. LShift actually feels worse than the membrane keys on the keyboard I'm moving from.
It is a stabilized key but that's not really an excuse for it to feel this bad, I really think they're just lacking in the quality control department if they thing this is acceptable to ship out. I know that plenty of FPS games don't use LShift and many typists prefer RShift for typing, but one of the main reasons I bought this keyboard is to improve my responsiveness in Overwatch. The rattling and occasional stiffness of this key has already gotten me killed more than I'd like to admit.
So I'm going to be returning both defective boards and I'm not going to try my hand at another one. It's really sad too because this keyboard has essentially all the features I want (though it would be nice if it was available with Cherry MX Browns). I'll have to find a brand that takes QC a bit more seriously.
I've attached a video comparing the lettered keys to the Shift key. It doesn't come across super noticeably on video but in person the rattle and stiffness + mushiness of the key is very apparent and obnoxious.
I love this keyboard so far! Admittedly, I've only had it for a week now but I figured I would put out a review quick with everyone's concern at typing on these switches because of the amazing sensitivity it brings as a gaming-first keyboard.
I personally did not have any problems switching to this keyboard in terms of typing. All it took was sitting down and typing a page and a half of nonsense and I was used to it. I did not make any more mistakes than I usually do (I type 80wpm for reference).
In terms of gaming, the faster response time IS noticeable. These switches look and feel great and I am loving the different lighting features.
For people who might not consider this keyboard without the dedicated media keys, I've gotten used to it. I listen to music while I game/work constantly and used my old media keys religiously so the lack of dedicated ones on this board concerned me. Not even a week later and I'm used to it.
Lastly, the build quality is wonderful. The board has a nice heft to it with the frame not flexing at all.
Overall, this keyboard looks and feels exquisite. I am so glad I chose it. And the reasonable cost doesn't hurt either!
10/10 Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a solid RGB keyboard!
