After solving a challenging case, one that thoroughly questioned her instincts, it’s not long before Detective Eliza Sheppard and her team are pulled back into the streets. Another murder, this time taking place in the Historic District of Savannah. The evidence is collected, the suspects are questioned, but still, something is not adding up. When the results of the autopsy are revealed, Eliza recognizes that she’s dealing with something unlike anything the Savannah PD has ever experienced.
The streets of Savannah are filled with thousands of possible suspects, roaming free, living in society among the rest of humanity. Eliza and her team of detectives are on the hunt for someone and they’ve got a lead on a person whose basic human nature is in question.
About the Author
Rachel Renee, born and raised in and around Cincinnati, Ohio, finds herself residing with her family in the suburb of Loveland. After completing a degree in psychology and racking up thousands of dollars in debt, she decided to become a stay at home mom and homeschool her children, all the while working on her writing career. While she is not using her degree in the secular world she uses it on a daily basis, psychoanalyzing her husband of 13 years and two children (10 and 8), her 2 dogs, 3 cats and her life as a writer and teacher. Just like Rachel enjoys reading books from many different genres, she also enjoys writing different genres as well, her first release being a contemporary romance and this being the second book in her Detective/mystery series.
