Excellent college course bookReviewed in the United States on 24 June 2012
Working towards my 2nd bachelor degree: this book is excellent in teaching future medical doctors (?!) the basics of human biology. While I personally find the material interesting and relevant, one can tell that the author is most experienced, and explains well. I am sure I will impress my friends with my newly learned mega-syllable words and complex processes of human biology. Nerve system impulses, axons, dendrites, neurotransmitters...this is very cool stuff.
Check the ISBN, this book is the international edition.Reviewed in the United States on 21 January 2008
This book is the international edition of the textbook. Although the same information is contained, page numbers, chapters and the order of the information is different... Be sure to check the ISBN to be sure you are buying the correct book for your class.

I signed up for a summer class and needed a text book quickly (the class was only 6 weeks and started immediately. I had a prompt email exchange with this provider and they quickly delivered a textbook in excellant condition for a nominal price (especially compared to retail cost for a new textbook).
