Product Description

The virgin and the billionaire…

Just because Jess Lockhart is a virgin in her late twenties doesn’t mean she isn’t interested in men. In fact, far from it: she fantasies about finding the perfect man who can fulfil her every desire.

Her new boss, handsome billionaire Ellis McKenna, seems perfect for the job. It is clear he is as attracted to her, as she is to him. However, a tragic past has left Ellis vowing to never do ‘serious’ relationships again. Having allowed herself to be seduced by a billionaire can Jess teach him about love?

If you like Fifty Shades of Grey you’ll love this!

2.0 out of 5 stars The story started well and just failed miserably midway... 9 April 2017

The story had so much potential and just failed miserably midway. Did the author really think that the constant winking by the main male protagonist Ellis was cute - it was such a turn off and an inability or laziness by the author to write better dialog. The constant sex sections became so meaningless and boring.

How to Seduce A Billionaire....loved it!!! Omg I want my billionaire like Ellis he was perfect. Laid back funny casual with print shirts and tan suits my kinda of guy. Oh and messy hair PERFECT!!! And I also loved Jess she's young and innocent but at the same time tough as nails. I have read several of this author's books and she does not disappoint in anyway. Her books are enjoyable easy to read and I recommend this one. If you are a true romantic at heart read this BOOK!!!

Loved the characters and the story line. Modern day Cinderella story with a touch of erotica, well maybe more than a touch.

3.0 out of 5 stars ** How to Seduce a Billionaire was a bit of a disappointment for me 16 June 2015
By H. N. - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
**I was provided an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review. I did not receive any compensation for providing my opinion.**

How to Seduce a Billionaire was a bit of a disappointment for me. I thought by the title and synopsis that I would love this book. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Don’t get me wrong, the book wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. It was just middle of the road for me. For the price of this book, I wouldn’t recommend it.

How to Seduce a Billionaire is about Jess Lockhart, a girl in her late twenties who is still a virgin and has put her life on hold due to some family issues, and Ellis McKenna, a hot billionaire that lost his family and refuses to let himself love again. These two meet and there is an instant attraction to one another. Despite the chemistry, Ellis only wants sex and Jess is looking for the Mr. Right of her fantasies.

The plot of this book was very simple and the author seemed to rehash the same issues over and over again. With a novel of this length, there just needed to be something more to keep the reader engaged. It is hard to stay focused when the same issues are addressed constantly over 400+ pages. Also, I had a hard time relating to the characters, especially the heroine. Jess for being in her late twenties is just so naïve and her inner dialog remind me of a pre-teen’s diary. It just didn’t connect for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fresh Billionaire romance that is a step above the rest! 30 July 2015

Format: Kindle Edition
Jessica Lockhart is a 29 yr old virgin, and has some wicked erotic dreams about Dream Lover but has never had the real thing. She is waiting for a perfect man to come into her real life, but realizes that there are no perfect men and that she needs to take a risk and give the next tall and dark and handsome guy a chance. On her way to work the next morning in the pouring rain a car pulls up to offer her a lift and immediately she recognizes the VIP visitor as her new big boss, Ellis P. McKenna, international financier and filthy rich tycoon.

After a brief meet and greet with the team at the office he asks her up to his top floor office. He is immediately attracted to her and although his past convinces him that he cannot have a perfect life he does want her company and plans to seduce her for a 3-4 week only relationship. So after their first intimate encounter he proposes a “liaison” of a few weeks. She thinks she wants to look for a relationship, but he convinces her that he could teach her everything she needs to know so that when Mr. Right comes along she can blow his mind in bed. She still turns him down, but deep down wants him. Can she have a relationship of his terms or will she end up wishing it had never started once it ends?

I loved the characters in the story. Ellis was so sweet and understanding and did not push Jess into his arrangement. He was persistent in a seductive way. I enjoyed the inner turmoil Jess displayed. I loved the choice of live in the moment or wait for a perfect Dream Lover. I think her internal dialogue was suited to someone who had no experience in a real relationship, but very active erotic fantasies.

I appreciated the story had a HEA and is a stand-alone novel.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
