"If toxic masculinity is a virus, then the big-hearted, happily subversive, technicolour-hug that is Sam Leighton-Dore’s art is surely the antidote.” -- Benjamin Law

Sam Leighton-Dore is an incredibly talented artists and writer, so I pre-ordered two copies of How to Be a Big Strong Man: one for me and my future child, and one for a friend who recently had a baby son. This lovely book will hopefully help dismantle toxic masculinity in future generations before it even begins, and I think every kid (especially boys) should have a copy of it. Incredible.

Wonderfully funny and on point for this time and space. A deeper meaning and message lurked beneath the surface to peek out at every turn showing this reader a reflection of himself. BRAVO!
