What a piece of trashReviewed in Canada on 15 October 2018
I can't believe people gave this 4 stars. I can't tell you how much I HATED this book. Dane treated Lily with such contempt and disrespect and she stood and took it. They were a perfectly disgusting pair who obviously deserved each other. Lily, if that's the kind of man you want, who seems to have no feelings upon learning of his brother's death and constantly calling you a tramp, you go for it girl! I found them both so replusive, I couldn,'t even finish the book. This was not a love story, it was about two really dislikable people who luckily found each other, probably because no one in their right mind would want them.
good bookReviewed in the United States on 28 May 2018
The book starts off very emotional and grabbed my interest right away. Lily is sitting in a hospital waiting room covered in blood. She just found out her husband died in the car wreck when a drunk driver hit them. The hospital staff asked her if there was anyone they could call for her. She asked them to call Dane, her husband’s brother. The two shared a love hate relationship. He accused her of being a gold digger. He thought she was cheating on his brother. He was so far from the truth. He was a little slow figuring out what was going on. In the end it turned out to be a good book.

Another excellent read by Michelle Reid. Dynamic characters, passionate, very interesting plot not usual in romance novels. Highly recommended book by a highly recommend author!

This was a very enjoyably read, and one I intend to add to my growing list of books that I'll, no doubt, read again and again.
