Product Description

Wanted. It’s something I’ve had to get used to since being placed on the government’s Most Wanted list. On the run, with my family and Finn by my side, we now have to evade not only the Arvies, but teams of soldiers sent to find and capture me.
Little do they know, I’m battling my own demons. After the receiving large doses of mind-enhancing serum, a monster has been unleashed inside my mind. It promises death and destruction; its power, greater than anything I could imagine. Now, I’m too dangerous, and the lives of my loved ones depend on my separation from the group. I must leave and face the hostile world alone.
My name is Abigail Park. I will do whatever it takes to save the ones I love.

*voluntarily and honestly reviewed the ARC I received from Lady Amber's PR*

About a 4.5 for me, but ooo I really liked this one. It was full of adventure and you get to see her without additional aid, and having to deal with the enemy? Who doesn't like seeing people turn for the better lol I did miss her family and Finn after everything they went through to stick together, but at the same time, I totally enjoyed seeing her powers grow. The different soldiers and Arvies she dealt with were just as entertaining, and it just felt like a fun adventure thriller with a bunch of new faces dishing out the same ole prerogative. A little repetitive with the dialogue and there were times when I wondered how many times she'd tell her entire story to everyone she met but I didn't mind that much XD I love seeing everyone react to her lol If you like Dystopians with zombies that aren't zombies but mutated people left to fend for themselves by the Government (yeah) and people who can control minds, definitely check this out.

Abi and her family have escaped the bunker, and are on the road to find a safe haven. They were saved by yet another group who have carved their space without benefit of the government. The family is welcomed and can be happy here. But Abi knows she cannot stay. She believes she is a liability to the people there, and needs to travel to where her grammy is waiting. Although she is scared to trek out on her own, she is more afraid to stay. Keeping them safe is her main objective.

She travels, she fights, and she finds Chase and Dr. Simon, along with Sergeant Hawkins. The government has found her and uses her friends to force her to give up. But the Arvies are there and only with her help, does some of them survive. But she's who they were sent to retrieve. What happens next will blow your mind.

Read the travels of Abi and the problems she encounters and resolves. Venge is getting stronger. Will Abi be able to control the darkness and get to her grammy??

Read on my friends. You will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars The intensity level just keeps growing! 2 June 2016

WOW, I hate to say this, but I think this is the best one yet! I read the entire book in like, 6 hours, I just couldn't stop. After everything Abi has already been through, and everything her and Finn have been through, it's not over. My heart ached for her the entire book, and I was so impressed with how she reacted and handled everything. All the new characters we got to meet and the new things we learned, craziness! I loved all the new characters we met, and the visits from the ones we know and got to see again. I hope we get to see more of them in next books.
Everything I expected to happen didn't happen, it was so much more terrible and or wonderful! We thought Arvies & a jerky controlling government was bad, but now we have more problems! Abi is determined to do whatever it takes to stay out of the governments hands and keep her family safe, and she does.
There is just so much goodness jam packed into this book I don't even know where to start, and wouldn't want to give anything away. Some parts are just so intense I found myself holding my breath and even pacing a time or two! But in the end, I was so dang happy with the ending that I hugged my kindle. Bring on book 5, because that is gonna be good, and I can't wait!
4.0 out of 5 stars This was another great instalment for this Saga 8 June 2016

As with the other books in this saga it is written from Abi's POV. This was another great instalment for this Saga. With the Government closing in on their position Abi feels she needs to leave in order to protect Finn, her family and friends. So she sneaks out in search of her Grammy.

I really enjoyed this book we got to meet some new allies and some old friends. We also got to see just how strong Abi has become and I think her powers are still growing. I was a little annoyed about the whole " i need to leave to protect you" thing as it is obvious that her and Finn are stronger together but i got over it :).
I do recommend this series. I am sad to think that the next book is the last.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why hasn't this series hit theatres yet!?! 29 May 2016

This series would make great horror movies. Seriously.
Abi is so full of bravery and hope. She always effects people around her positively. (All of Cameo's characters are.) Cameo created another badass female heroine.

Abi is wanted by the government bunker her and her family fled. They have her injections that made her develop a gift. One that will let her destroy Arvies with a single thought. She's having trouble whenever she uses it. "Veng" as she calls it...takes full control and kills everything in sight sometimes...And leaves her drained. She ends up getting caught by the bunkers soldiers and ends up seeing her friends she left behind there and also makes new friends too. She's also looking for her grandmas bunker. But ends up not reaching it before the book ends...😱😁👍🏻
5.0 out of 5 stars Hope and Hellfire – What a combination! 13 June 2016

There are a lot of books and movies out there about existence after the Apocalypse. One thing they usually have in common is the struggle for those who survived the fallout to stay alive, some of the survivors no longer close to anything that resembles a human being. What I like about this book is the author follows that theme but puts a deeper emotional spin on the story.

Abigail Park is a young woman with a unique gift, an ability the U.S. government has enhanced to use as a weapon to aid their mission for world domination. To keep the people she loves safe, Abi leaves them behind, without saying a word to anyone, hoping to find a place where they can all live together in peace. Finn—her forever love—is always on her mind and in her heart, but Abi has to keep her focus on the dangers: hordes of ravenous mutants, other insane, flesh-eating survivors, and the ever-relentless government that’s tracking her. Abi will do whatever it takes to reach her safe place. Still, when the odds are stacked high against that, she puts her own needs aside, reaching out to those who need her help to survive.

This book has plenty of action, but not so much that it overwhelms the story. You get a good look inside the characters’ heads and feel their emotions. I wanted to see more interaction between Abi and Finn, but I understand that leaving him behind was all part of her learning process. In the end, admitting that they are stronger together moves Abi toward maturing into the unstoppable weapon she needs to be to win the battles waiting for her.

Awesome book! I highly recommend.
