How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Lots of Excitement and Some Really Bad Guys
Reviewed in the United States on 2 January 2020Verified Purchase
Frankie has come back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan with a plate in her head and a partial prosthesis in her foot. Determined to live as normal of a life as possible despite repeated and painful attacks of PTSD, Frankie has become a paramedic. Her job as paramedic allows her to get up close and personal to a series of murders that has overtaken her small hometown. Meth labs, drug lords, and mysterious women begin appearing. It’s up to Frankie and her platonic (for now) roommate, Deputy Sheriff Gabe to solve the murders.
The story sucks you in right away, and keeps you interested throughout. Frankie is sometimes grouchy, tetchy, but always likable. The bad guys involved in the meth cooking trade are depicted so despicable and evil, they’ll send shivers down your spine. Animal lovers will especially like the interaction between Frankie and her two loyal dogs who help her dodge attempts on her life. A good, solid mystery with lots of excitement.
