Another action packed adventure for Maggie and her animal crew.
I really enjoyed the interactions between Gino and Maggie in this book. I'm intrigued with where it will lead. Gino has certainly caused some romantic feelings in Maggie. Different to Patrick. While I love Patrick I'm really warming to Gino. Since Angels previous problems I have gone off Angel for Maggie. He just doesn't gel with Maggie and her unique friends.
I really enjoyed the predicament with the skull. Never tire listening to Maggies problems and escapades. What a hoot this whole book was. Loved it!

I am so addicted to the Hitwoman series. Maggie and her human and animal families feel like old friends. There are lots of fun moments, but also so many serious and heartwarming moments. I can’t recommend them too highly. Once I read one I am searching to find out when the next one is out. Maggie has to deal with so many different frenemies! Her family, her mom in “the nits house”, ms white hat, her ex, her psychic friend, her childhood friend, her mobster friends! So many threads for the author to keep track of and she manages amazingly! Please keep them coming Jen, your imagination is the bomb!

If you've yet to encounter Maggie Lee, accidental hitwoman for the mob (and others), carer for her niece Katie, and her siblings, aunts, parents and others, then allow me to recommend starting at the beginning, as by Episode 23 you will need to be familiar with the who's who and who knows what, in this ever-imaginative and exciting comedy drama.
In this book we link up again with the mysterious RV, who now features in her own on-line serialisation "The Cursed Chicks Club", and, as if the word "exorcism" in the title wasn't a big enough clue, the topics of magic, witches, curses and possession, are at the centre of this story. Most of the regular characters put in an appearance; Maggie gets a new job offer and an invitation for a date; male strippers audition; and a reporter starts to ask too many questions.
Any more information and Maggie would have to kill you, or maybe you would end up dying accidentally at a really inopportune moment.
Highly recommended.
