Loved finally getting to know Hope and Blake. They had a lot to work through with Hope growing up affecting how she sees herself and love. but Blake was amazing at pushing without overstepping and just being an amazing stand-up guy. Once again Happy Cats animal population make for some very cute and hilarious encounters.

This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!

Don’t read in public unless you want to look like a loon cause your rolling on the floor laughing... or causing an injury trying not to laugh. Can’t wait for Clint’s story, but in order to really enjoy start from Hosed.

I know I say this after every book in the series but I really love Happy Cat. That town is seriously crazy in all the best of ways. I can't even think about the series without getting a big cheesy grin on my face.
And the chemistry between Hope and Blake has been simmering in the background of the previous books. And I have been dying to find out why there was so much animosity between them. And I can honestly say I didn't see that coming.
Hope is such a sweetheart and I have been a huge fan of hers forever. Her anxiety over her affect on electrical appliances and her concern for all the Happy Cats furred citizens made her my hero.
But as much as I liked her I really loved Blake too. For all the snark between him and Hope he always came running to her rescue. He was such an awesome leading man. And when his alpha alpaca came out I did get a little swoony. I would have liked to see a little more of his vines and tasting room but it was far from necessary to the story.
I personally didn't find this one as funny as the previous books but I did get a few laugh out loud moments and the emotion felt a little deeper. And the little teases for Clint and cupcake have me dying for the next book in the series. As much as for them as for the sneak peeks into everyone else's HEA's.

Well my day was made when I was able to step back in to Happy Cat. This writing duo just work so well together. They obviously have the same wicked sense of humour, and both are exceptional authors in their own right, but together they are magic.
Blake and Hope's romance is so ridiculously funny. I love how these two author's minds work so come up with such stories. Yes it is an enemies to lovers romance, but it is nothing like you have read before. And I loved every word of it.
Even if you haven't read any of the previous books, this does read as a standalone. But I did enjoy catching up with the previous couples. But I especially loved catching up with the animals. If that sounds crazy, and I guess it does. It is just testament to how good these stories are.

Hitched by Pippa Grant & Lili Valente is the third book in their co-written Happy Cat series. This is the story of Hope St. Clair, the wiper of all things electronic, and Blake O'Dell, the fixer of those electronic things, the connoisseur of wine, and the one who loves Hope despite their past.
Hilarious interactions between the main characters and the members of the O'Dell family and the townsfolk make for another excellent story from this writing duo. The furry friends are a wonderful highlight, but the meat of the story, the romance between Blake and Hope, is phenomenal. Bringing two people together with such different childhood experiences, working through Hope's issues and insecurities. Dealing with the Alpaca custody drama. All was well-written, well-paced and made for a seamless story of love. Enjoy!

I’m enjoying this Happy Cat series. Once again, this is a fun story. Hope is pretty messed up after growing up with frosty parents and family. Absolutely no belief in her ability to be in any kind of relationship, after never having seen one. She sees her relationships with the animals she protects as the only safe place. When her cousin is set to inherit her beloved (valuable) alpaca if he marries before she does, she asks her ex to marry her to save him. Blake has not stopped loving Hope, even after they had their impulsive Vegas marriage annulled, 24 hours after the event. He’s been pretty peeved with her about the annulment for the last 4 years.
It was nice seeing them call truce and work things out. Hope coming around to seeing that she doesn’t have to be alone was nice. The drama/mystery at the end, with family and friends rallying to save everything in the end, has been something I’ve enjoyed with this series as well.
Very easy to read, I’m looking forward to the next one.

After reading Hammered I just knew Hope and Blake’s story was going to be a cracker and it definitely is plus more.
Hope St. Claire desperately needs Blake O’Dell to do her an enormous favour... marry her so she can keep her grandmother’s animal sanctuary and continue to care for the animals, as per the stipulations of the will. Let the shenanigans begin!
Honestly, there were times I think I startled my cat I laughed so loud and long! My husband even asked me to read out bits and pieces because they were so funny. Great expressions and descriptions like ‘sausage sunrise’, ‘slumber lumber’ and ‘morning whack of dawn’ bring a smile to your face while it is still obvious what it is yet not crass nor crude.
This is a fast faced book because of the solid storyline, sweet romance, bit of mystery and sensational comedy. I literally couldn’t put it down and read it in one go. I totally recommend it to everyone.

It makes me happy when there’s a new release from one of my favourite authors but when two share a release..... I’m over the moon.... especially when it’s these gals and another instalment of the Happy Cat standalone series.
We knew from previous books that there was something going on between Blake & Hope but never really knew until the blurb for Hitched was released... and then the tension and sparks between them made some sense.
I loved this pair. Blake was so determined for things to be different this time around, if only he could convince Hope that not all marriages and partnerships were like those she had witnessed growing up.
Hope for her part wanted to believe but she had such a fear of history repeating itself that she couldn’t completely trust that things were meant to be between them.
This pair were destined to be together. The chemistry, connection and comfort they found with each other yelled out that they were supposed to be a couple.
As ever from Pippa Grant & Lili Valente this story was joy to read.
Packed with crazy goings on, all our favourite family members and friends as well as a whole host of adopted animals - George and his wee family are tricksy, cheeky and a ton of fun... - I didn’t want to put my kindle down, even when I really had to!!
I’m looking forward to more from these authors and our next trip to Happy Cat!

The dynamic duo strike romantic gold again

I loved this story from start to finish.
Blake is in love with Holly, Holly is terrified of falling in love.
What's a man to do? Well, absolutely anything and everything to prove that true love exists.
Oh if ever there was a couple more perfectly suited, then I don't know it.
This couple are willing to sacrifice much to ensure each others happiness.
As I have come to expect from this writing pair, there are elements of humour, sadness, villany, family and fun.
Above all there's the purest of romantic love between this kind, caring couple.
A thoroughly satisfying book.

The comedy genius of Grant and Valente strike again. I adored this second chance/friends-enemies-lovers story! Small town Happy Cat has the greatest inhabitants whether they be two legged or four.
I found this story witty; the characters feel real in their own quirky way; the O’Dell family are adoptable; there was action, romance, Chewpaca, Too-Pac, the ‘kids’, George and family and let’s not forget the hedgehogs.
Oh and lets not forget the electrifying love story that is Blake and Hope.

Hitched is by far and away one of my favourite romantic comedies of 2019. This is beautifully written romantic comedy, which is sweet, heartfelt, humorous, and with witty banter. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner and look forward to reading more in this fascinating series! So if you are looking for a book with a sexy hero, feisty heroine, witty banter, steamy and sexy times, lots of laughs and all the feels, then you NEED this book!! Happy reading!!!

This story is full of laughter, love, shenanigans and crazy animals. It's a thriller, a love story and a romcom. Most of all it's a brilliantly well written wonderful story. Loved it.
