Sage - her action in not informing TJ abt Eli, is 80pct understandable. 20pct one would think down the line it would be important for her child to know his father………at least think abt it.
The over emphasis on not spending his money (it was too repetitive)
But the unreal feeling Sage has(in terms of suddenly having a lavish new home, housekeepers etc) is very well written.
TJ: His love for his late wife, anger abt finding out he had a son … very well written.
The fact he got married to Sage suddenly without a prenup - is a bit odd, especially as to protect business interests (partners, shareholders, employees) this is a must where big business is involved. It is not abt distrusting the wife-to-be, but more abt protecting others involved .… I wish romance authors would undestand this simple fact and not make a big deal of it. Personal wealth and business are two different things.
Spoiler:
The discovery of the shrine to Lauren in TJs bedroom (weeks/months after Sage and TJ consummate their marriage and are intimate); it put me off. Then the U-turn, very sudden.
This was one book where you had guys discussing personal matters - even feelings…… ! TJs convos with his friends… !
I coud not feel the "love" between TJ and Sage. It comes across like Sage has very strong feelings forTJ and TJ loves having a family.
