This was the 2nd book I have read from this author and I was a bit disappointed. It took me a while to figure it out but I missed the impact of the curse. Somehow it became a sideline, an inconvenience but not something detrimental. Maybe it is just me, but I had expected a bit more -hm- suffering,torn feelings, twisted loyalties or some such thing. Therefore, 3 stars only.

Especially when you get flung to a time where there is no coffee! I loved this story line, the characters frustrated me though. In life, we all know that we don’t always see the clear big picture. So it was more realistic than I was expecting. I was impatient and just wanted to jump the trials and skip to the epic love story. I feel like the book was so full of the mission that there wasn’t much time for their love. I would read a second book of their lifetime together. Love this couple!
