Not greatReviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 February 2016
This kept reminding me of the writer Margaret Wey and I am not that fond of her writing style. It always seems a bit disjointed and jerky. The heroine was a bit of a twit and rather characterless. As one other reviewer pointed out, there is a chunk of writing that has been put in the wrong place. It should have appeared after she was musing in her bedroom but came in several pages later, which was really confusing. I did not feel that this story had any real depth so was unable to relate to any of the cast of characters in this tale, which held promise in the synopsis but failed to deliver upon reading.

Reasonable storyReviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 April 2014
1st published 1998. An easy light romantic read. Reasonable story line. Would have given it more stars if there has not been so many typos and even one section cut out that is pasted further on in the book!
Another good story from Lindsay Armstrong !Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 May 2013
A thoroughly great romantic novel, with believable characters, great story lines without any explicit parts in the novel. Just a good read about an interesting family and a predatory female!! Thankfully with a satisfactory ending .!!!
He's My Husband!Reviewed in the United States on 26 November 2014
This was a good story but so far out there...maybe, could be, believable. That being said this was about a marriage of convenience, one where he married her to save her from those who wanted to marry her for her money. He did it with her fathers blessings. Now that she is turning 21 she wants their marriage to be real. But there are others out there who want to pull the plug on that marriage. One is his ex wife and the other a co-worker who just joined the firm where he works. Does she stand a chance? It looks like there will be sparks flying. I will be reading more works/books by Lindsay Armstrong in the future.

Good storyReviewed in the United States on 10 August 2013
A good story but it took awhile to get started. Brett is not a great character until the end and Nicola is just becoming an adult who has been taking care of her husband and his children but without a real marriage. Nothing very dramatic about the story and just a nice romance.
