Product Description

She caught my attention the first day I was seated in her class.

Her dark red hair fell in waves down her back and her alabaster skin appeared to sparkle under the lights of the lecture hall.

I'd admired her from a distance, never speaking or doing anything to draw attention to myself.

Each day that I spent watching her in this room, I noticed how her eyes would flick up to me. She was wary of me - frightened - and she had reason to be.

Allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Holland Strong and at 21 years old, I'm the youngest Master within a society of wealthy and influential men.

Claire Elliot is my psychology professor in college - that is, at least, until I make her my first courtesan.

She believes she knows everything about how the mind works…

…and I believe I can prove her wrong.

Her Master's Teacher long overdue arrival is finally here. This follow up to [book:Her Master's Courtesan|20628154] is just another example that author Lily White was born to be a dark author.

In Her Master's Teacher we meet the budding new Master Holland. A young wealthy college student being trained by the best, Master Aiden. Holland already feels the pride of being a master. Sees through the eyes of a master, and craves dominance like only a master can crave. With his handsome good looks he was born with and the charm he has cultivated, his teacher Claire can't help the pull of her eyes every time she feels him watching her. She can't help the eerie feeling she gets that this man is more than what he seems. Holland believes nothing is out of his reach, not even his professor

Claire's beauty is only surpassed by her intelligence. She is an independant woman confident of her knowledge of the human mind. As a psychology professor she has studied the human tendencies and knows every trick a captor will use to manipulate it's captive. Claire's world comes crashing down with the realization of her circumstances. With her knowledge of situations like this I was at the edge of my seat trying to figure out who would come out on top. Once again the mind games will have you second guessing what the outcome will be. How and if she can ever be broken.

Her Master's Teacher gives us dark erotic moments I've come to expect from a Lily WHite novel. What surprised me was the thick billows of emotion I didn't see coming. While this book is not as dark as it's predecessor I still really enjoyed it. I think you will love the new Master Holland, however Master Aiden will always be the one TRUE MASTER to me.

Lily has definitely earned the title Mistress of Mindf!!!ery with this book. The second in The Masters Series. We again meet the ultimate Master, Aiden along with Rebecca and introducing Holland, Master in training and Claire his psychology teacher and his first victim for Holland to train himself.

This book was just WOW, it played with your mind and your emotions and took you on one hell of a ride. You didn't know from one page to the next what was going to happen, every time you thought you knew Lily whipped the mat from under your feet and left you stunned. And the ending,I just hit the floor in gobsmacked amazement, I was really not expecting that!!!!!

I love HMC but for me this book was a dark psychological masterpiece. a must read for all readers who like dark psychological suspense.

There are not enough stars to award this book so I will just say. BRILLIANCE IN THE DARK.

I was gifted a copy by the Author for an honest review. I never thought I would love a book more then I loved Her Master's Courtesan yeah I was wrong. Her Master's Teacher out did Courtesan . Now don't get me wrong I love my Aiden and Rebecca and I get them in this book . I loved how Lily gave us more detail in the world of being a Master and a Courtesan . With Aiden training Holland . You will think you know what is going to happen and then s*** hits the fan. Aiden is even more of a A##however that is what I love about him. Holland has his moments of making me not like him because he seems to weak. Don't take my word for it go grab this book you won't be disappointed .

Her Master's Teacher , by Lily White
4.5 Stars
Lily White weaves an intricate story in this addition to The Master’s series. But holy cow it was almost unbearable to see what Claire goes through, you can’t help but hold your breath, wince, and feel her pain and anguish. And that’s when I know an author has got me by the throat! I don’t know how this author can flip-flop our emotions SO MANY times for one character! I’m talking about the infamous Master Aiden. I hated him in Her Masters Courtesan and then by the end I loved him. In this book we get to see his viciousness play out once more and I went back to despising him all over again and do NOT even get me started on Master Holland! I was just on an emotional rollercoaster all the way through this book! To me that’s GREAT story telling. Eagerly waiting to see who or what we get next in this series, I for one would love to see the story behind Master Anthony. Hint, hint, wink, wink Lily White.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 MILLION STARS OF MINDF*CK BRILLIANCE! 11 October 2014
By Jasmine Kok - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
If you've ever read Lily White's writing before, then you should be well prepared that her books are NOT for the faint-hearted. I expected nothing less from this brilliant woman after putting down Her Master's Courtesan and I thought just MAYBE that this one will leave the same effect on me as it did for HMC.

But how terribly wrong I was. So SO wrong.

This book blew everything I thought I expected out of the freakin water. I feel like it's important to tell you that this one was so VERY different than the first book.

Yes, the darkness is still there which will make you cringe & squirm.
Yes, the erotica is still off-the-charts hot.
Yes, Aiden is still a f*cking crazy bastard.

But HMT brought the psychological element to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL; whatnot with Claire being an expert on the subject itself. The mindf*ck we're dealing with throughout isn't the usual "explosive wtf just happened" mindf*ck but it's more of a literal "I am thoroughly f*cking your mind right now with my words and actions" mindf*ck.

Who am I kidding though right? Put a bunch of psycho-experts under the same roof, of course it's gonna be an ultimate mindf*ck.

I would love to say more about this book but doing so might spoil the experience for you. And trust me, this is another book that you just have to go in blindly and take it for what it is. I'm not gonna lie that I struggled a little at the beginning because honestly I had NO IDEA what I was getting into. It really brought on a different set of feels than what I felt during Book 1 & that threw me off a little.

But you know what? That was exactly what made the book worked for me. To expect the unexpected is an understatement here. Lily White will throw you into an intricate web of thoughts which made this read so brilliantly complex that definitely questioned my sanity by the end of it all.

Before I leave, take my word for it. READ THIS BOOK. In fact if you haven't read the first one, READ IT LIKE YOU NEED TO. JUST READ IT PEOPLE. But this goes without saying that PLEASE ENTER WITH CAUTION.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Dark and Twisted Stars!! 11 October 2014
By Suzie C (Readers Heaven) - Published on

OMG Lily White has done it again and she certainly deserves the title now bestowed upon her by her many fans...The Mistress Of Mindf#@&ery.

This book comes with a warning attached and it is not there for fun.

Master Aiden is back!! And he is doing what he knows Courtesans. This time however he has a student at his side, Holland Strong, who he is training to be a Master. Holland sets his sights on the next potential Courtesan Claire, who happens to be HIS teacher and, needless to say the training commences.

There are many twists and turns in this story and a whole lot of wtf moments. I loved Aiden from the first book but at one point I was starting to really dislike him. I loved following up Aiden and Rebeccas relationship as well as the development of Holland and Claire. The story is brilliant, well written and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

If Dark is your thing, this is definitely one you have to read!!!

Would love to see a book 3 :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't be afraid... 10 October 2014
By Lisa - A Risque' Affair Book Blog - Published on

Yet again, Lily White has rocked my world with the next 'Masters' installment. I was wondering how she could possibly top Her Master's Courtesan. If you've read HMC, you know boundaries were pushed and lines were not only crossed, but completely disregarded. In this novel, you get more of the same but Lily somehow ups the ante... if that's even possible.

Holland Strong is the youngest Master in their society. Aiden is given the orders to look for a specific woman to be a Courtesan... and Holland knows just who to pick. One of his school teachers. The problem is, she isn't so easily broken or persuaded.

There's a reason Lily is one of my 'go to' authors when I want a dark read. She just writes in a way that pulls you into her dark, twisted world. You'll want to look away at times (pear of anguish... 'nuff said), but you won't. You'll keep reading until you realize that HOURS have passed by and you're left shaking your head and wondering... how the heck does she come up with this stuff?? The ending of this book... I didn't see it coming. At. All. The Epilogue... I wanted to stand up and applaud Lily (and hug Aiden... I KNOW!! Aiden!!).

Don't be afraid to read this. It will open your mind to a whole new world...

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Masterpiece 10 October 2014

I received this Arc for an honest review. This was another brilliant masterpiece by the amazingly talented and awesome Lily White. This is the 2nd book in the Masters series. In this book we are introduced to Master Holland who is training alongside of my favorite Master Aiden. Aiden shows him the ropes and gives Holland his first Courtesan assignment. Her name is Claire and she happens to be Holland's college professor. Without giving anything away, I will say to prepare yourself for one hell of a ride. Lily has a way of telling a story that you never know what to expect, except to have your mind blown. This was an excellent follow up to Her Master's Courtesan. Caution this book is extremely dark and absolutely marvelous. Lily's writing is mind bending at it finest. I highly recommend this book!
