Product Description

Part One in a three-part series.

From International Bestselling authors Callie Hart and Lili St. Germain comes a tale of two families co-existing in a melting pot of violence, murder and drugs in the seedy underbelly of New York City

Theo and Sal Barbieri are brothers, tasked by their Mafioso father Roberto with a very clear purpose: kidnap Kaitlin McLaughlin. The beautiful daughter of Roberto’s Irish enemy, it’s high time Kaitlin was punished for her father’s sins—not to mention, her own.

And Operation: Kidnap Kaitlin is a roaring success… until it isn’t. When Kaitlin escapes into the busy streets of New York City, it’s a race against the clock to find her before Sal and Theo become the hunted.

Zeth Mayfair has traded life as a hitman for a quieter existence, but it isn’t long before the past catches up with him in the form of Roberto Barbieri. Will he succumb to the lure of power that Roberto is offering? Or will he retaliate by killing every last Barbieri in New York to get them off his back?

Jason Ross is running. Woken in the night by a tip that the Gypsy Brothers are coming for him, he packs a bag and gets his girlfriend the hell out of dodge. Arriving in New York City in the midst of a heatwave is one thing, but being tailed by an entire drug cartel is another.

Money.
Power.
Sex.
Blood.

It all hangs in the balance.

And in this world?

Somebody always loses.

Worlds collide in Hell’s Kitchen as secrets come to light and sins are punished. Because we might be different in the light of day, but in the darkness, we’re all connected somehow.

*Hell’s Kitchen is a series comprising three volumes: Hell’s Kitchen, Tribeca and Bleecker Street. Volume One releases on March 3rd with a limited-time sale price of 99 cents*

I received an arc of this book for an honest review.
I am a huge fan of both Callie Hart and Lilli St Germain.
Hell's Kitchen is a quick read that will keep you hooked from the very first page. Theo and Sal Barbieri, sons of Roberto 'The Barber of Brooklyn' Barbieri are tasked with abducting the daughter of Paddy McLaughlin - Roberto's number 1 enemy.
The kidnapping is going to plan until Sal says those fateful words "We're on the homeward stretch" from there onwards things literally go to pieces for the Barbieri brothers; They lose their mark and have to avoid their psycho father finding out, gain a hot as hell female bodyguard and a crazy (but hilarious) waitress as hostages, and have to deal with some hilarious sexual situations.
Theo and Sal are sizzling HOT, throw in Zeth Mayfair from the Blood and Roses series (Callie Hart)and Jace from the Gypsy Brothers series (Lili St Germain) and that's FOUR sexy as sin men to drool over.
This was a well written, fast paced book that kept me hooked from the first page until the last. It had action, comedy and a seriously hot sex scene.
I absolutely can’t wait for the next instalment!

The most anticipated collaboration of authors has arrived in the form of Hell's Kitchen. Lili Saint Germain and Callie Hart bring a whole new genre to life in their first book of The Hell's Kitchen series. It's got everything action, drama, revenge, blood, sex and tears all in the first few pages!! To say it grabs your attention and refuses to let go till the end would be the understatement of the year.

Theo and Sal Barbieri are tasked with a simple job: kidnapping Kaitlin McLaughlin, the daughter of their Mafiaso father: Roberto Barbieri's enemy: "The sins of the father are visited upon the heads of his children." Where Roberto is concerned you do not ever question, refuse or go against him, family or not, you do as he says or reap the consequences. Their task is going well until something unexpected happens; she escapes, now along with loosing Kaitlin they look set to loose something much more valuable!! As the polar opposite brothers use their own means of search and rescue, cunning charm and persuasion to find the escapee Kaitlin Theo and Sal's character's shine through: driven, loyal, dirty minded and ohh so witty along with crude, hot headed and totally alpha badass tendencies!! I guarantee you will instantly want more on these brothers.

I adore both Lili and Callie's writing styles and character dialogue as they make you feel part of the story. I felt as though I was there with Theo and Sal in New York searching for their mark with the attention to detail in every line read.

Hell's Kitchen is the much anticipated collaboration between the crazily good writing minds of Callie Hart and Lili Saint Germain. On the surface it's about a feud between the Barbieri and McLaughlin families but, of course, in true Hart Saint Germain style, there's so much more going on. Characters both old and new are presented to us within the layers of this brilliantly told underworld story that has humour, personality, feisty charismatic characters and pure grit.

Here are some of the players:
Kaitlin McLaughlin: Feisty, spoilt, tough and the daughter of Paddy McLaughlin

Gracie O'Connor: Body guard to Kaitlin. Very competent and SEXY. She owns her role and wants to belong to the McLaughlin family.

Scarlett Winchester: Nine month ago her life devastatingly changed. She's hooked on pills and alcohol. Fearless with sass and a feisty personality making her maybe seem more courageous than she really is.

Theo and Sal, the Barbieri brothers I LOVE them already, their individual personalities shine through the prose making them a highlight attraction in this Mafia style story. Their father, Roberto, "..has a medieval mentality and can hold a grudge like no one else on earth," and who best to enforce his grudges but his two boys? Do things always go to plan? That's something each reader will discover for themselves.

The layered story is entwined with action, grittiness and humour. The way each character is introduced into the story, the way it all unfolds, is highly engaging. I found myself smiling and laughing at witty comments and outrageous moments, then grimacing at the edgier elements. I love the way all the entire story arc is tied together. The array of characters having their own starring role in the prose.

I’m going to break the rules by summing up this book in the introductory paragraph. One word for the plot, one word for the characters; one word for every perfectly placed argument between two clans has to be without a doubt … explosive! Actually, that’s putting it lightly. Better said is ‘dynamite!’

These two sublimely creative authors have got together to create a read which not only reached my expectations, but also knocked me backwards! Furthermore, the subject is one which I am extremely partial too. So even better! It is clear to see that both authors know what they are talking about. Their tone in the first book of this trilogy kicks in from the first paragraph. It literally sucked me in and spat me out. Undid me! I needed to read more.

Shame on you gals! Sleep deprivation was an understatement!

I am finding this review extremely difficult to write as my good intentions are always never "let on" to the reader. However, I will tell you this… never cross paths with Roberto Barbieri! What a cold SOB! His sons, Salvatore and Theodore, have to carry out a mission for their father which is not exactly easy. Will they cock it up? Their father doesn’t have much faith in them, so my gut reaction towards Roberto was pure hate. Okay! Even though I didn’t like him big time, for God’s sake; a little bit of faith in one’s siblings wouldn’t have been over the top! What should have been a simple task turns into a horrendous bloodbath. I was in a different world when I read this scenario. Rewind, pause, play… it was like being in an action movie. And who kicks more arse is...

The bodyguard of the century!
