One of the better dark-crime novels I have read. As an Author myself, I appreciate the very sick and ACCURATE descriptive writing regarding Gretchen. I like the detail of scenes and descriptions helping myself, as a reader, feel "there". But, it is a BIG BUT!, I just don't like novels written in the 3rd person.
I read a book a month (when I am not writing and editing myself) so have a good viewpoint on styles I like. If you write in the 1st person, it just makes far far better books! I would have given 5 stars otherwise!!
Gretchen in the 1st person would be SPECTACULAR!
