Product Description

When stubborn and determined collide, sometimes you have to fight dirty to win.

Saints and Sinners front man, Jarrod Banks, has the looks and the voice that make women swoon, and he knows how to take advantage of every lyric and every wink. Not used to having to fight for the attention of an attractive woman, he can’t help but be drawn to his publicist, Patricia, who refuses to play his games. She’s the one woman whose love he’s going to have to earn and he’s not afraid to fight dirty.

Even managing a rowdy group of music sensations, Patricia Monroe is the consummate professional. For five years, she has kept her attraction to Jarrod under wraps, enduring his endless supply of women, but one day when locked in an elevator, revelations are made that could change it all.

When their relationship is put to the test, Jarrod is left with no other option than to pull every dirty trick in the book to show her she’s the only woman he’ll ever love.

5.0 out of 5 stars I read it in an afternoon! 6 June 2016

I read this entire book in an afternoon! I rarely do that because I'm rarely given the opportunity, and rarely do I find a book in those opportunities that engages me so deeply. But this is it. I have two weaknesses in life: hot guys and country music and this book gives me both.

Jarrod Brooks is the lead singer of the hottest country band, Saints and Sinners and he's got the hots for his publicist and has for five years. She is head over heels for him too, but the two of them are pretty darn stubborn (Trish more than Jarrod) and they just can't get it all together at the same time. Finally, she falls into his arms and it gets steamy, and quickly.

The story goes back and forth between past and present, and alternates between Jarrod and Patricia's point of view, but the pace moves swiftly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot & Sexy 9 December 2015
By Deb C - Published on Amazon.com

Each and every book of Kaithlin's is better than the one I read before!

I am a huge fan of musicians, I especially love those country boys! I mean have you seen Blake Shelton?

When Trish and Jarrod met sparks flew, but Trish keeps things professional between them. She watches Jarrod date woman after woman and it breaks her a little each time, but he is a player and she wants more for herself.

Jarrod is the front man for Saints and Sinners. He is sexy as sin with a voice that's like a fine scotch. He has feelings for Trish but she won't give him the time day. He wants her, but he knows that he is going to have to work for her and he is going to have to change his wicked ways.

All it takes is being stuck in an elevator for the 2 to finally open up and let the feelings flow.

Of course admitting you are in love with someone and being in a relationship with them isn't always all roses and chocolates. Jarrod and Trish hit s few speed bumps along the way. Trish's insecurities and doubts cause issues, a lot of that brought on by society's idea of what a "real" woman is supposed to look like, not to mention the string of ex's that Jarrod has, but Jarrod is dead set on proving to her that she is beautiful to him in each and every way.

It's a bumpy road to an HEA and the only way to find out what happens is to read it for yourself.

I loved these two. I loved the intense chemistry and feelings they had for each other, the sex was hot as hell, the flashes back flowed seamlessly with the current lives and the integration of the rest of the band and all of this has left me wanting more! I can't wait to read the next book!

4.0 out of 5 stars ... Shepherd and for it to be one of my favorite romance tropes ( the hot rocker falling for the ... 5 December 2015
By jill d - Published on Amazon.com

Saints and Sinners book one is the start of a new series by the incredibly talented Kaithlin Shepherd and for it to be one of my favorite romance tropes ( the hot rocker falling for the everyday/ordinary yet beautiful women) was just a bonus for my reading enjoyment. Lead singer of S & S - Jarrod Banks has had it bad for the bands' publicist since the beginning but she hasn't wanted to play in his games. Patricia has been the level-headed ultra professional that is unwilling to jeopardize her career for a fling with Jarrod but unbeknownst to him she has been in love with him since she first laid eyes on him years ago.

Five years ago Patricia (Trish) Monroe was just heading to a bar to grab a drink when she discovered a band that would take the world by storm. Trish has been as much a part of the band as everyone else and has stood by and watched Jarrod date other women all while her heart breaks a little bit each time. Trish realizes by denying their chemistry and placing Jarrod firmly in the friend-zone her heart and professional reputation stay intact but it has been five long years and her resolve is starting to crumble.

Jarrod Banks is a country music sensation and I don't know about you guys but for me the country boys like Luke Bryan/ Dierks Bentley put those pop guys to shame. So you can just imagine the fan girls all over a smoking hot front man like Jarrod but regardless of all the attention he receives he still can't seem to get Trish to pay him any mind at all. Jarrod has done everything that he can think of to make Trish just give him a chance but five years is a long freaking time to wait so he resorts to every dirty trick in the book until it works and when it works good Lord does it work in a spectacular smoking hot way!!!

The back and forth between past and present was seamless for me and gave us a great look at the band on a whole. Then for us to get that light-the-sheets-on-fire sexy times when these two finally succumbed to their desires just made it an all around great read for me. Can't wait for more about the band :)

Four 1/2 Stars!!!

This is my first book of Kaithlin Shepherd that I have read but it won't be my last. She did a fabulous job at telling the story of Jarrod & Patricia. I enjoyed getting background moments for the past five years that this band family has shared.

Patricia (Trish) is a PR who discovers Saints and Sinners and with her magic touch and hard work makes them superstars. She is with them through everything and they all form a family bond.

Jarrod the lead singer for Saints and Sinners knows from their first meeting that he has to have her. He forms a bond with her of trust and friendship throughout the five years before he finally has had enough and makes his move.

There are glimpses of their past together and it shows how they were always meant to be whether either one wanted to admit it or not.

When you start the Saints and Sinners series you will be anxiously waiting for the rest of the band member stories. You will fall in love with all of them and crave more from each of them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Falling in love with the band 14 July 2016
By What are you reading? - Published on Amazon.com

Trish first hears the sound of Saints and Sinners in a bar, and with her help as publicist their fame takes off. From the first moment that Trish meet Jarrod, the lead singer of Saints and Sinners there is instant chemistry. Both of them deny thier chemistry for five years. And when they do give in...the sparks fly.

The first really awesome thing about this book is the way that the author sets up your desire to know more about the secondary characters. By the end of the book, I honestly didn't know which band-mate was going to be my favorite. The second neat thing about this novel is the sequencing. The author has chosen to tell the story almost in a flashback format. And the author uses alternating points of view between Jarrod and Trish. This works really well, because it helps the reader to understand why the characters are acting the way they do. If also make you want to strangle the characters because they would have the happy ever after if they would just learn to communicate.

This is my first book by Kaithlin Shephard, but it certainly will not be my last.
