Product Description

Isabelle Cooper's in big, big trouble. Her flower shop? Well, it was just bought by the man she's had a crush on forever. Her new boss, Devon Donovan, is a tall glass of melt-in-your-mouth hotness. The problem? Devon is definitely not interested in love. No ifs, ands, or buds about it.

Devon knows Isabelle has been crushing on him since college, but buying her business shouldn't be a problem. Not only is she his employee, but as the eldest Donovan brother, he's too busy protecting the family fortune for romance. But tomboy "Izzy" is all grown up now. And he's finding it impossible to resist her, no matter how hard he tries...

Devon Donovan has spent his life protecting his family and taking on all of the responsibilities. When he uses his enormous wealth to buy the local flower businesses, Isabelle Cooper is part of the deal. They each have something to offer the other, and don't want to spoil a great working relationship by acting on their attraction. The plan they come up with to have the best of both worlds is bound to end in tears, especially now that Isabelle is so entrenched in the Donovan family. There's a great push and pull between responsibility and enjoying life.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Awesome Read! 8 April 2016

I loved reading Head Over Heels for the Boss (Donovan Brothers Book 3), all about Isabella Cooper the florist with an MBA in business & Devon Donovan the oldest brother whose a Corporate Lawyer and manages all the billions of dollars the family has. Devon purchased the Florist from Isabella's parents so they could move to Myrtle Beach and golf their retirement away. Part of the sale was that Isabella was given a position for life in Donovan Industries. Devon brought her on board, to be his apprentice and run the business side of the business using her MBA talents, and turning the management and work at the Florist to a new staff. Read this story and fall in love with Devon & Isabella and see how they navigate life in the corporate world. I loved reading this entire series, and I'm hoping there will be another story coming out, to deal with Barbara Beth & Jeremy Donovan!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Romantic Series 10 November 2015

I like this series because it's a set of brothers who are having relationships problems not sisters or best girl friends. Devon is the oldest boy and has always protected his brothers from their abusive father. Just like his brothers he does not trust love or marriage. When his mother is getting married and his brothers are all married and content, he feels relief. He hires an assistant, Izzy, to help with the book and feels an attraction for her, but it might be growing into something more. Izzy has had a crush on Devon since high school and doesn't think she can work beside him day after day with out him knowing.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this series 16 September 2015

Susan Meier is one of my favorite authors. She writes books that bring you right into them. When I finished book two of this series I waited, impatiently, for book three. Now it is time to check her website often and wait for book four, again impatiently.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok read 15 April 2016

This one was okay but I had a hard time liking the characters. Devon came across as totally selfish and self-serving while Isabelle had no backbone or self respect. Everything had to be Devon's way or the highway and Isabelle acted like she couldn't live without his attention so she just went along with whatever he wanted in order to keep his attention. He insisted on sneaking around to see one another, even came up with the idea of using her parents empty house now that they moved to Florida. When he and Isabelle start getting close and she starts believing he feels something for her, she gets completely ignored at his mother's wedding, which she helped plan. There's not even a placecard at any of the tables with her name on it. Plus, she has to watch him spend the entire wedding reception dancing with his date, the woman he had the gall to parade in front of her. When someone suggests he dance with Isabelle he turns his back on her and says he's going to get a drink.

Couldn't get into this as there was nothing to like about either one. I gave it two stars simply because of the effort the author put into it.

Sweet romance done right. This was a truly enjoyablebook. There were lots of things going on in Devon and Isabelle's story that could've kept them from a happily-ever-after. Will definitely read more of Susan Meier's work.
