Once again a great read from Keith McArdle two storylines to follow, one set close to home and the other in Indonesia. The characters are so believable with our own brand of humour written throughout the book. Enjoyed the fight scenes overseas and once more Keith's description of soldiers engaging the enemy was real. Nice to have an Australian Author out there writing good stories. As a woman i found this book not just a blokes read, the story is interesting for all, appreciated the military aspect.

A good read from start to finish. Written with the experience of a Special Forces operator it gives you an understanding of what it would be like to face the aftermath of an invasion of our country. Worth your time and effort to read.

I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!!
I wait with baited breath for every new book release! I love the fast paced action, dotted with true Aussie humour! We love the colloquialisms of our ADF Personnel - well known to those who have served in the Australian Army - and we really can resonate!
The fact that this "fictional" situation could possibly occur one day in our own shores underpins the curiosity and suspence of each page! I love reading about suburbs that I know and have actually been to - it just makes it that much more appealing!
I read this in a day! Love it THANK YOU!!

I started with The Reckoning and Aftermath, and Havoc is another one I couldn't put down!
The story flowed so smoothly, the descriptions of scenery and locations is on point, and whilst I admittedly don't have any military experience, the techniques and descriptions ring true. The writing is so good it feels like you're a bum on a seat next to the characters, dodging bullets and throwing punches.
I can't wait for the next instalment, and if you haven't tried one of Keith's stories you should!

I liked it but found it not as fulfilling as the previous two books in The Unforeseen series although like them, it was a dark look into what will happen in the event of such an invasion.

Set within the same story arc as the first two books in the series the third book,k takes the reader on a different adventure. Keith clearly knows what he's writing about as he creates a believable world for the story. Couldn't put this one down, the telling of the story gets better with each book.

Keith has done it again with another excellent book in the unforeseen series. I started reading it and then realised with dismay that the book was almost over - I had lost track of time with the storyline. If I had a criticism it’s that it’s too short.
Book 4 please?

Well written Keith , makes you proud of our military . This was a good read , believe me from being inserted into enemy territory , to controlling the murderous gangs stealing the food and hijacking convoys, brilliant.

Another thrilling episode in The Unforeseen Series

Keith McArdle keeps up the tempo and excitement of the first two books in the series. As with previous novels, the fictional invasion of Australia and its subsequent fight to return to normality is described from the viewpoint of different characters and offers an alternative perspective on those events.
Again, as previously, the writing is very authentic and believable, especially the characterization, combat sequences and operational procedures.
Keith is rapidly becoming one of my favourite writers of contemporary action and adventure fiction and is for me on a par with the likes of Andy McNabb, Chris Ryan, etc.
Recommended if you like books that are very difficult to put down once started

Keith McArdle you have done it again. Another terrific story from a master storyteller. The movement and action scenes are more perfect than I remember. The camaraderie a true experience.
Don't know how you can top this, brilliant.

This is the third book in a series about the invasion of Australia. The author set the bar high with the first two books which I thoroughly enjoyed, and this latest in the series was every bit as good, I will be buying more from this author, enough said !

Another outstanding book from this author book 3 is as gripping as the first 2 in the series about an invasion of Australia. I highly recommend you read the books in order to really enjoy the storyline it's not often you find a book that you just don't want to put down but this author has managed to do it with all 3 of the books in this series. If you like Andy mcnab and Chris Ryan you will love these.

A fantastic read from Keith. It's the first book in The Unforseen Series that I've read, although it's recommended that you read them in order so that you can enjoy the story line, I was able to enjoy Havoc without reading the previous books.
The story is quite easy to pick up from where the previous two. The story flows with ease and the action is non stop. Brilliant.
