Product Description

***Havoc is the first installment of a three-part serial, each approximately 36000 words. (110 pages)***

Selene Michaels is determined to never let anyone make her feel inferior again. After a painful divorce, she finds herself in Paris on a working holiday, hopeful that this will be the opportunity she has been waiting for. She intends to have fun and maybe find someone to flirt with; someone who will show her a good time, treat her right, and awaken her to all she has been missing. What she does not expect to find is Remington St. Germain and his adorable son, Adrien. Remington is intense, devastatingly hot and a Prince Charming on the outside, but a dirty talking, insatiable devil behind closed doors—the opposite of the man she has been hoping for—and not the type to give up on something that he wants. Selene soon realizes that life with Remington is not only interesting, but adventurous. It’s dangerous, and she’s about to find out how dangerous. . . if she is brave enough to take a chance.

Sometimes books grab you and just don't let go and this is one of them. The prologue is so full of emotion, you feel Selene's confusion, her pain, her despair and her heartbreak, how is she going to recover and get through what her life has become, I loved how the story takes time to develop, there is no quick recovery, no jumping into bed with men to dull her pain but time and family to help heal the pain. When on a trip to Paris she meets the mysterious and enigmatic Remington St Germain, the attraction is instant, the heat they generate is off the scale and he has a dirty mouth which I love! There is a mystery running thought out the whole book and its not just Remington's past, the ending left me panting for more.

After falling in love with another Autumn Grey book, I wanted more so turned to the Havoc series.
Book one has got me sucked in to the attraction between the 2 main Characters, Selene and Remington.
Selene who has been rebuilding her life post a traumatic divorce and Remington a single father with what seems like some skeletons in the closet, meeting in the city of love, Paris.
Their relationship just beginning and they have been thrown a curve ball, without giving it away possibly a dangerous one. It has me extremely intrigued and I will read onto the next book too see where this is going.

5.0 out of 5 stars Such an amazing novel! 23 May 2015

I won a copy of this book during a giveaway on Facebook and was really excited to read this book. I love when I read a blurb of a book and something just clicks in my head. Nine times out of ten I can tell from a blurb whether I'm going to love the story or not, and I loved this book! As soon as I finished this book, which was late into the night, I went and bought myself the next book in the series. It's that good that I needed to know what happened next! I love this novel and the characters!

Selene Michaels, after a painful divorce, is starting to love herself, curves and all, again. She leaves behind her life to travel to Paris to continue to follow her dreams, hoping that this would be her big break. She feels free and beautiful again, so she plans to flirt with guys and have a great time while in Paris for three months. She expected to have a little fun and have a fling with some random guys. What she didn't expect was to meet Remington St. Germain and his adorable son, Adrien.

Remington is everything Selene has ever looked for in a man. He's handsome, kind, protective, and he's intense. He will go to any extremes to protect those he cares about and he always goes after something he wants. And what he wants is Selene. Heart, body, and soul.

Will Selene be able to put aside her inner fears and give into Remington and enjoy her three months in Paris with him? Or will she run when she realizes how dangerous it is to be with Remington. What would you do to protect those you love? Could you give up your own happiness for theirs?

One of my favorite things about this book are the main characters. I loved both Remington and Selene. Selene was a perfect book heroine. She was insecure of her curves, like many women, including myself are, and I felt it was so inspiring that she took her insecurities and let them fuel her passion for modeling and helping others struggling with the same insecurities. She loved her curves, even if she was insecure due to her ex-husband's emotional abuse, and fought with her all to love herself again and show others they can do the same. She was beautiful, inside and out. I couldn't help but root for her.

And Remington? Man, if I met a guy like him I would never let him go! He was a perfect book hero. He loved Selene and all her curves. He brought her self-esteem up and made her see her beauty when she couldn't at times. Not only that but he loved his child so much and put him first all the time. There's nothing more handsome than a man who loves his child unconditionally and treats his girl right. He's an amazing character!

I highly recommend this book! It does end in a slight cliffhanger, but it wasn't drastic or anything. Just wants you want to get the next book so you can find out what happens next for these two awesome characters!

My favorite quotes:

"This was life. When you stumble and fall, pick yourself up and dust yourself off. I had done it before, and I would do it again."

"I believe people come into your life for a reason. We could have met five years ago or two years ago, but we met when we did. Maybe it was a sign for us to acknowledge the bad so we can appreciate the good when it comes along."

5.0 out of 5 stars Havoc - Reeks havoc on your heart...your mind...your soul...a MUST read!! 23 December 2014

I was given an ARC for an honest review...HOWEVER, I 1-clicked it as soon as I finished. I had to OWN it. :)

I love dark erotic much so, that I have forgotten how much I love reading a really good love story. Havoc...this is a great love story.

Webster's Dictionary defines havoc as: noun 1. great destruction or devastation; ruinous damage.

This book reeks havoc on your heart, your mind, your soul...Autumn Grey's debut novel is a must read.

What starts out as a deal of pleasure for a few months, seems to quickly be turning into an emotional roller coaster.

Remington St. goodness. I can feel the rumble in his voice as I read. Yes, he's a dominate male, alpha if you will...but Autumn Grey give a new twist to this type of character - a single father. Ms. Grey has a brilliant writing style that took my right into Remington's world. I could literally see his paintings, his smile, how he interacts with his son, the desire; the multi-faceted personality of Mr. St. Germain.

Selene Michaels is my hero...curvy woman - very confident in herself, despite her a@@hole of a husband and devastating events in her life. This is only part one of a three parts series and I have a feeling the little snippet of pain we've seen from Selene's past is going to hurt her even more in the long run. I loved seeing her inhibitions tossed - acting upon her feelings.

The interaction between Remington and Selene is HOT HOT HOT. I love to see a man undone by the desire he feels for a woman. Women swooning over men is ok, but to see and feel the tenderness from a male character definitely pulls at my heart strings.

This book ends in a cliffhanger of sorts - I can't wait to read Obliterate. It's going to be scary because obliterate is a verb meaning to remove or destroy all traces of; do away with; destroy completely. I don't know if my heart is ready for that or not...

Havoc: great confusion or disorder; chaos disruption.

Selene and Remington walk into each other’s life and that is exactly what they create. This is a beautiful love story. Two wonderful people guarding their hearts not wanting to get hurt again; but they were not expecting to find each other.

Selene Michaels is a strong woman that has been devastated by loss in her life. She picks herself up and goes off to Paris to find herself and have some fun. She is witty, charming and beautiful. Her self-confidence had taken a back seat, but it starts to come forward again.

Remington St. Germain is a strong, hot and confident man. He goes after what he wants and doesn’t take no for an answer. He is a loving and caring father; he doesn’t do things halfway. He is not easily dissuaded; he is a fierce protector.

Adrien, Remington’s son is full of laughter and happiness; he touches a soft spot in Selene.

The chemistry between Selene and Remington is undeniable. The sex scenes are erotic and hot. Autumn Grey does an excellent job pacing the story and with the development of Selene’s and Remington’s relationship. The words gripped me and I became completely immersed in the story. This is a feel good story with a dose of danger. Some tears will be shed. Such is life and one of the reasons I love this story so much. This is one I am going to read again.

I was provided an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review. It is now one of my top favorites and I have purchased a copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Havoc, definitely a 5 star read! 2 June 2015

Havoc is the first book in a three part series. The story is about Selene Michaels and Remington St. Germain. Can two people that have been through so much in life, find happiness with each other?
Selene is a plus model trying to get life back on track after going through some tough times. She is offered a three month stay in Paris modeling. While in Paris, she hopes to have fun and may be have a fling. Then she meets Remington and has to rethink everything she thought. Remington is a single father, raising his son Adrien. Remington is a hot alpha male who is bossy, sensitive, and will protect what is his.
When these two meet they feel a pull toward each other and neither knows what to think of it. As you read their story, you will watch them start to fall in love and what selfless act a person will do to protect the ones they love.
This book does end in a cliffhanger. You will definitely want to get the next book Obliterate!
Autumn Grey is a fantastic writer, who keeps you wanting to come back for more.

After seeing this series with the pretty covers on Bookworm Brandee her blog a few times, I finally decided to buy the first book once I won an amazon gift card. Unfortunately while it is a nice book it just wasn't for me. Or maybe it was my mood, I am not sure exactly why, but I just couldn't connect to the book. The story didn't come alive for me, it just felt a bit flat and everything could've used a bit more depth. They are in Paris, but I never felt like I was there, there are no descriptions only mentions of where they are. She has a modelling career, but we never really get to know more about her job beside a few details. I wanted to read about her work as well, except for one presentation she gives. Then there is the mysterious millionaire love interest, some very cliché scenes and sex scenes where I rolled my eyes.

Let's start with the story, this is mainly a romance, but there are some other things going on as well. The pace doesn't feel rushed even though it's a short book, it just felt like it lacked depth everywhere. Selene has had a painful divorce and goes to Paris to restart her modelling career, then once she arrives there are problems with her hotel room and she meets Remington. It's lust at first sight. The story wasn't anything special and is predictable, they slowly get to know each other a bit and then have sex and it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger ending. There is some mystery thrown in and I didn't like the ending very much as Selene reacted rushed and did things without thinking, it just felt a bit off. She never asked questions or tried to figure it out or I don't know call the police. It was just weird. I am thinking more will be revealed in the second book, but the ending felt a bit rushed to me.

Selene is a nice enough character, but while it is emphasized how hard their divorce was or how much she lusted for Remington I never really felt it. She was nice enough, but I didn't really relate to her or felt like I got to know her well. And even though she married that man for 6 years, I never felt like they had anything but convenience, so I didn't feel like she missed or lost anything as only the bad things about their relationship where mentioned. Ofcourse it isn't about her relationship with her ex, but about starting over and falling in love again. Then there Remington, the mysterious love interest who wants Selene. While we don't get to know much about him, beside that he has a son, I did like him interacting with his son. That made him more human and real to combat the mysterious and too intense part. Adrien, his son was a fun character and I liked him, it also added some lightness to the plot at times and it was fun to see him interact with his dad and Selene.

The romance build slower than I expected and I appreciated that they went out before jumping into bed together. Although having said that even though they went out a few items I didn't feel like we got to know about them or their connection beside their chemistry that was off the charts and how hot they got with only one touch. It was described a lot how they felt, but I didn't feel it. I didn't feel their connection. There is only one sex scene towards the end and one oral sex scene somewhat earlier. It was supposed to be hot, but it just left me cold. The sex scenes felt cliché and I just sat there rolling my eyes, luckily the scenes wher epretty short and didn't get dragged out.

To conclude: While Havoc sounded like a fun short erotic romance, it just didn't work for me. It's probably me, but I just couldn't connect with the story or the characters. The story and characters didn't came alive, there wasn't enough depth and everything felt cliché and predictable, then there is a mystery plot twist towards the end that felt like it didn't make sense, it probably will be explained more in the next book, but I don't think I'll be continuing this series. It wasn't a bad book and I enjoyed parts of it, there were some fun scenes and I liked they didn't jump in bed immediately and the fact that Remington had a son.
