I bought the first book (Haunted 1) not realising it was a 'teen novel'. However I became so involved in the story that as soon as I had finished '1' I immediately downloaded this sequel. Although it was 3 pages longer that Haunted 1 - You can never go home, it seemed so much shorter and I read it in half the time it took to read the first.
While it seemed to have less detail than 1, (the characters and scenario already laid out previously) I still thoroughly enjoyed it and the turns of events. I had to smile at the 'teenage strops' as they brought back memories of my daughters' teens (and made me thankful all that was passed though they could beat 'Princess' hands down). I could hardly put it down and read it in two days. I was surprised when I reached the end and with the outcome as I was already planning downloading a third book.
The books had good detail in them, good storyline and while very light and extremely easy to read I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed them. I have been reading some very 'heavy' literature recently and it may have been that I was just ready for some light relief but I liked the writing style, content and the subject matter and if like me you were just ready for something a little bit different from what you normally read (and at £1.59 it's not breaking the bank if you don't take to them) I would certainly recommend it........Pity there wasn't a third book I did like the characters.
