Product Description

Opposites in every way, Chase and Arianna have been bitter rivals since childhood. Constantly in competition, they fight incessantly, making it nearly impossible for them to be in the same room with each other. Until they slept together.
Sex changes everything.
In one emotional evening, they go from enemies to lovers. Hate quickly evolves into passionate lust, but old habits die hard. The love growing between them can’t erase a lifetime of animosity. The two quickly fall back into old routines of spite and vengeance, and their relationship crumbles under the weight of their deep-seated distrust.
Chase and Arianna spend the next two years on opposite sides of the globe, avoiding each other at all costs. Despite the lies they tell themselves, neither one is ready to let go. Even though they are both engaged to other people, they can’t find it in their hearts to forgive each other or to move forward.
A family emergency calls Arianna home, where they have no choice but to face each other again. Will they finally admit the truth, or will they remain forever trapped between love and hate?

5.0 out of 5 stars If I could give this book 10 stars, I most definitely would. One of my favorites of 2015! 17 October 2015

I absolutely loved this book. Does it make sense to write a review for the 2nd book before the 1st? I'm not sure, but this book had a twist that I never saw coming! It is kind of refreshing to have the female character so flawed and damaged for a change. It is always the male that has baggage and issues, I was kind of surprised that this book was just the opposite.
Chase is the sweet, yet sexy and tough football player and Arianna is the angry and injured former tennis superstar, the daddy's girl, the Golden Girl of the media.
The things that she goes through in this book had me actually disliking her for most of the book, but it was so worth it in the end.
There is just enough angst in this book to suck you in and keep you reading all night long.
I absolutely have found a new favorite author in Isabelle Richards! I hope she keeps the hits coming.

1.0 out of 5 stars Exhausting toxic relationship 16 October 2015

I'm honestly surprised this book hasn't received more bad reviews. It started out really good, but by the end I was emotionally and mentally exhausted. All the two main characters do is fight horribly with each other (sometimes physically), break up, and then get back together - the entire book! It was a never-ending cycle. It got to the point where I genuinely couldn't even understand why they were ever together in the first place. The author does not do a good job of highlighting the positive aspects of their relationship, or the love between them. They both repeatedly say throughout the book that the other one "gets me", which frankly, makes absolutely no sense. If someone truly "gets you", they understand you and your actions and what makes you tick, which means less arguments and misunderstandings. For every good interaction they had there were at least 20 fights or misunderstandings, coupled with a handful of explosive breakups. In my opinion, these two didn't get each other whatsoever. The breakups always happened when Ari left (typically the country) without waiting for an explanation of the situation (usually some absurd misunderstanding or assumption on her part). It was ridiculous. This is probably one of the most toxic book romances I've ever read. And on top of that there was really only one sex scene - which was when they were 17, so it wasn't hot at all. It seemed awkward. All of the other mentions of sex were in stories relayed to the other characters in the book. By the end of this book, I wasn't even rooting for these two. It was the opposite. I felt these two had no business even being together. I mean really, how many cheating misunderstandings does one couple experience before it's time to call it quits? I can't even imagine what book two will be like. If you're into really toxic relationships and tons of arguing, than this is the book for you. Otherwise avoid this one at all costs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fear isn’t a dirty word. ” Toxic 9 September 2015
By Amy Bosica - Published on

Actual Rating: 4.5 Stars!

“Love is scary and intense and confusing.” “At one time or another, we’re all cowards in the face of something unpredictable and unknown. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Fear isn’t a dirty word.”

Toxic. Captivating. Intoxicating. Angsty. Those are just a few words to describe this book. Hate to Love is one of those stories that you are just going to love to hate ;)

Hate To Love follows the story of Chase and Arianna. Chase and Arianna have been mortal enmities for as long as anyone can remember. That is until one night, everything changed. One night, their hate turns into passion. And you know what they say; sex changes everything. Chase and Arianna develop an intriguing relationship. On the outside, when friends are around, they act like they can’t stand each other. But behind closed doors, their hate is transformed into passion, lust, maybe even love. But, as their relationship continues on, the lies that they tell will turn what they have into something toxic. Things spiral out of control and some actions can’t be taken back…..Fast forward 2 years. Both Chase and Arianna have supposedly moved on. However, they’ve never really been able to let go. When the two of them are forced back together, they no longer have the option of avoiding each other. Will the two of them finally be able to forgive and forget and finally move on??

I have to say, I am completely hooked on this book! I am dying to know what happens next! The way things left off!!!! Ack!!! I am just dying!!

Let me just say, this is my first book by Isabelle Richards and it most certainly will not be my last. This book captivated me from the very beginning. I knew that this book would take me on one heck of a ride and with lines like this: “I can’t forgive her! She eviscerated me! She made me fall in love with her. She took my heart, my soul, and everything that was ever good in me and pissed all over it. That’s not something you just move on from. We were enemies before, and that’s exactly what we should have stayed. If we had, maybe I’d still be whole! You want a villain to blame? Look at her.”, lets just say, it did not disappoint.

Hate to Love You was a fantastic read. The characters were captivating. Their story was intriguing. I was hopelessly lost in the toxic relationship that Chase and Arianna had. I found myself addicted to their story. Yes, they frustrated me to no end. They were both stubborn and wrong; too proud to see the truth that was staring them in the face. And when they weren’t at each other’s throats, their chemistry was off the charts!

This is one of those stories that will have you yelling at your kindle for them to get their acts together! And just when you think things are going into the right direction, a nice little twist is thrown in there. A twist that will leave you screaming for the next book to see how it will all play out! I for one can not wait to get my hands on the next book!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic story. I want more!!! 14 September 2015

I absolutely adored this book.

I love the way that Isabelle intertwines the history of Chase and Arianna in flashbacks and visits to a psychologists with what their lives are in the present. Everything just flowed nice and smoothly so that I never had trouble distinguishing the past from the present.

In the beginning I wondered how these two people who clearly hated each other and couldn't be around each other without annoying their families or disrupting events, could ever get to the point where they were in a relationship. Somehow they do and it's just works. They bicker and they fight and don't even get me started on their lack of communication, but they are young and honestly, it's what I would expect from a couple their age.

Chase is basically amazing and I know I'll have to fight some of you book hoes to stake my claim, but I'm more than willing to fight for him. I fully expected him to be a giant jerk to Ari, and let's face it, he definitely wasn't nice. Yet there were times where he was nothing but sweet and supportive with Ari and those are the reasons she can help but fall in love with him, much like I did.

Ari is smart, strong and loves her father and her best friend with all of her heart. She lives in a world where you'd fully expect her to be a spoiled little rich girl, but she's far from it. She just wants to live her life on her own terms, in her own merit. She inadvertently contributes to the trust issues and miscommunication between her and Chase, but she's not as vindictive and cruel as Chase tends to be.

The two of them together are like gasoline and fire. Put them together and the flame ignites with a force that cannot be contained, but the heat is incomparable and I want to go down in flames with them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Hate to Love You is amazing! 12 September 2015

Hate to Love You by Isabelle Richards was a complete page turner for me. It is written in a unique way so that brought events from the past as well as the present help the storyline unfold. Every time I was introduced to another important part of the characters storyline, I couldn't help but fall more in love with them.

In this story you meet Arianna Aldrich and Chase Brennan. They have known eachother their entire lives. Their parents were best friends in every way imaginable. From being professional athletes, being next door neighbors to having children together only a week apart; their families were inseparable. While Arianna is an only child and her best friend in the world is Chase's twin sister, Charlie.

From birth Chase and Arianna have always been a part of eachother's lives; however due to their extreme competitive nature, they usually fight like cats and dogs. They are always trying to out do the other, to be the best. One day they saw each other in a new light and realized their combustible relationship had quickly ignited a roaring flame. But will they be able to put their battles from the past behind them to have a future?

I was quickly drawn into this book. It was well written and told in a format that left me waiting for more from their past to be revealed as their present unfolded. I absolutely loved the chemistry between each character. The dynamics of this book captured my heart. I can't wait to see what happens next for Chase and Arianna!
