Product Description

Birds from everywhere can join the Big Bird Band. Twittering and tweeting are in huge demand.
Trouble is, Crow’s singing doesn’t quite fit the bill. With a little help from well-meaning tweeters, Crow learns the finer points but still can’t sing a note in tune. Will he ever find a place in the band?
A delightful orchestration of a community, wired by social media and powered by the love of song.

I read Harmony Tweet out loud to our, almost three year old, grandson — complete with bird noises — and he laughed and laughed and he loved it. The bonus was that he also loved the vivid colours of Aimee's stained glass window-like illustrations.
I liked the subtle tale of a community finding a way to embrace and utilise rather than reject and waste difference.
A great addition to our family library

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully orchestrated children's story 5 January 2016
By Teenawriter - Published on
Young readers will delight in this brightly illustrated story about a crow whose singing doesn't quite fit the bill for the Big Bird Band. Jackson Hill's tale uses music and social media concepts to highlight the importance of working together in a community to help each other. Her lively, rhyming text positively sings along and there's plenty of opportunity for children in the 4 to 8 years target audience to join in the fun with their own quacks, screeches, squawks and twitters. The bold, colourful illustrations by Aimee Dickson simply ooze child appeal. #Harmony Tweet is sure to be a firm favourite on home and school library shelves.
