This is a great little book for those wanting hassle free travel by being prepared before you leave home. Mike knows his product. This book is not meant to be read like a novel from the first to the last chapter. Scroll down the index and be specific and choose what you need and don't forget to read the 50 Top Tips at the end of the book. I particularly like the advice about stowing your insurance policy details in your phone, brilliant along with other tips which only a seasoned traveler knows and willing to share.. The book met my expectations, I'm a seasoned traveler, yet there is always something to learn.
I am so pleased that I found this. This is an amazing achievement. The amount of research is phenomenal and the experience evident in the work put into this book is quite amazing. The author has made the whole book easy to read as well as amusing with examples and tales of disasters averted. If you need an update on something you wish to do, or need some insight into the next type of holiday you plan to take, then this is your book. No need to read the entire book at once. Dip into it as you need to. The author has a wealth of knowledge and experience which cannot fail to impress.and is prepared to share. This is gold. If you are an avid traveller or just thinking of your first trip overseas you need this book. You will learn stuff that will surprise you and also it will explain stuff that has puzzled you. The secrets and insights he shares are worth 10 times the price you may have paid for this book. I travel a lot and I have learned so much that I am recommending this book to all my friends.

This book is a wealth of information - a valuable resource for the first-time and experienced traveler alike from someone inside the travel business with vast practical experience.. The author's let's the reader into the behind-the-scenes world of the travel agent, the airlines, and accommodation providers. The book has a nice personal touch with anecdotes from the author's personal travel experiences over thirty-odd years,- both successes and disasters. The author recommends many excellent, relevant websites He explains the pros and cons of do-it yourself planning and booking but doesn't preach . I thoroughly recommend the book to all who are contemplating traveling. You could save yourself a lot of hassles by reading this book as essential homework first
