Ever arrived at a hotel to find that the room you booked is a total shock, nothing like the photos?
Or perhaps you got home to find unexplained amounts on your credit card relating to your car rental. I can go on with more, but I think that something like this has happened to many of us.
Help is now at hand! With the “The Happy Holiday Travel Planner” those problems will be a thing of the past. You’ll now enjoy the stress free, safe, and memorable holidays that you seek - at the right price.
I’ll give you hundreds of tips and specific advice on how to avoid the many common mistakes that travellers make. And I guarantee no waffle or padding! I give you detailed examinations and assessments of all aspects of travel, genuine case studies, useful internet links, and my own personal experiences. So, who am I?
I’ve been in the travel industry for 30 years as a retail travel consultant and manager, tour operator, tour escort, international tourist board representative, hotel inspector, product development manager, travel writer, and sales and marketing director. I've travelled extensively in Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, Siberia, Mongolia and China as well as S. E. Asia and the Pacific Islands. Most importantly, I still work in the travel industry so my information is totally up to date.
So what does that mean for you?
With “The Happy Holiday Travel Planner” you’ll finally understand how travel really works. How? Because I’m giving you the “insider” information so you can confidently pick your way through the minefield of travel offers that bombard you daily, and choose the right one for you. No more disappointments.
You’ll get the inside story on the internet travel sites, and even how to travel at the front of the plane at less than you’d expect to pay! And how would you like that room upgrade at the hotel, or spacious larger rental car for little or sometimes no extra cost? I’ll tell you how.
This book is NOT about how to live on $50 a day, travelling on the super cheap and worrying about every $ you are spending. For me a holiday is about enjoyment, relaxation, and experiencing the local culture, traditions and food. I like to travel in comfort, not necessarily 5-star, and have enjoyed great times in good 3-star accommodation. After a holiday I want to be happy, totally relaxed with lots of great memories, and satisfied that my money was well spent. How about you?
Warning. I express my opinions in a forthright way. You may not always agree with me, but I’ll never be accused of being boring!
I’m writing the book in September 2015 and changes are occurring daily, so some of the fine detail will have changed by the time this book is released. But the advice I give is perennial – the basic concepts and guidelines don’t change.
My home is Australia, and the book uses a number of specific examples relevant to Australians. However the comprehensive tips and advice apply no matter where you live in the world.
