This book is an excellent guide to steer those who are on the path to a more fulfilling, healthy and mindful life. It is one of the most comprehensive books I have read on the subject of Mindfulness. It includes recipes for life... to nourish the mind ...the heart... the soul ...and even some deliciousrecipes to nourish the body. Thoroughly enjoyed Elise’s style and the easy flow filled with many entertaining anecdotes.
A really interesting yet practical book. Well laid out and easy to follow step by step guide for daily meditation. Great tips for sleeping and waking routines and some deliciousrecipes dropped in there too which was a nice touch (love the berry chocolate breakfast mousse)
I have read lots of books on meditation and mindfulness, and the strategies and ways Elise sees the world and expresses herself is refreshing. There are so many books on 'being in the now' and how to be 'happy'. There is something about Elise honest and methodical approach, bringing In her background as a trained Psychiatrist - nothing to fluffy! I love how the book takes us on a meditation journey from'beginners mind' to 'managing meditation obstacles' make it so easy to follow and accessible. Ooh and not to mention the deliciousrecipes she rewards her readers with at the end of each week. YUM!!!!! A BRILLIANTLY REFRESHING APPROACH TO MEDITATION AND FINDING TRUE HAPPINESS!!!!
