Offers several options for getting your child to sleep, gradually withdrawing the assistance of the parent. Does move on a sliding scale of solutions so even if you are at the end of you chain (as I was) it is informative and easy to read.
Also recommend Solve your childs sleep problems by Dr. Ferber... this is to help you determine exactly why your child is not sleeping, then you can implement either Dr. Ferber or Harvey Karp's approach when solving the issue.
